Martyn Ford Instagram – A day of GIANT SETS ….. 

All over UPPER BODY workout …. 

Absolutely loving this way of training, the general rule of thumb. 

3 sets of each exercise.
3 exercises per circuit. 
Rep range 15-20 reps.
Rest between sets 45 seconds.
4 Separate Circuits. 

Choose 1 exercise for chest, shoulders, back and turn this into your circuit. 

This is great for general fitness and muscle build.  Aim to do 2 upper weight workouts per wk, and 2 lower. Along with variations in cardio at least 4 cardio sessions per week.  #fitness #muscle #fatloss

There’s so many ways to train, so many alternatives and so many outcomes … the FIRST and FOREMOST thing you need to ask YOURSELF, is very simple ….. 

‘What am I training for ?’ 

There is absolutely NO point in just following someone else’s routine, someone else’s plan, because all you’re going to be, is a lesser version of them.  I say this, because we are all individuals, we all have strengths and weaknesses, and we all should be tailoring plans to work for and with us !! Looking at your strengths, your weaknesses, your purpose and time line you have to work with. 

The ONLY way to really succeed with any plan, is to have a passion for the OUTCOME , because if your not actually bothered about that, when it comes to pushing yourself, when it comes to the actual grind, the hard work, the EFFORT and INTENSITY which needs to be applied for real results …. It won’t be there, you will quit, and you will fail … 

So do yourself a favour, ask YOURSELF what do YOU really want and why … and then, go and do something about it, be productive, be driven, find that energy … or, crumble, make excuses and live a life with regret and disappointment because you gave up.
