You already know I save my shrimp shells in the freezer and make Shrimp Stock (see previous reel) but here’s another use…Shrimp Butter! Compound butter is a great way to use leftover bits and makes it easy to add flavor. I stir my Shrimp Butter into soups, noodles, grits, slather it on fish and vegetables, or just spread it on the kick-ass sourdough my mom has been making since lockdown. Keep some in the fridge to use and some in the freezer for a rainy day and break glass in case of flavor emergency!
