Yesterday my favorite guy on the planet got married. My best friend, my family, my brother from another mother @travissteffen 🤍 I love you more than anything and couldn’t be happier for you and @jadeparis.co Blessings to you on the next chapter of your love! Wishing you a lifetime of love, happiness, abundance, bliss, and all your heart desires and so much more. I love you both dearly. Congrats you two!!! 🤍✨ And for everyone else… I know to post joyful things in hard times can feel like a lot, but I believe love and human beings still get to celebrate their love, and be celebrated whenever and wherever possible. 🙏🏽
“To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower. Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour…” Happy March everyone🌻 This poem not only reminds me of the beauty that this world holds even in the tiniest grain of sand and a most tender of wild flowers. It also reminds me of the divine order and process of things. For example, a wild flower was once not a wildflower but a seed, and before that, perhaps dirt. Before that, atoms that had yet to take form as anything even remotely resembling the beginnings of a plant, and so on and so forth. We can therefore, quite literally hold infinity in the palm of our hands at any given moment. What a gift and a miracle that is, and how beautiful that every atom, every piece of dirt every bit of pollination… all of it had to work in perfect harmony with the perfect amalgamation in order to birth that single flower. How incredible is Mother Earth and what she creates! In this, I’m reminded that everything has its season, and progresses in time just as nature does. We need the rain to fall before spring can bloom. There is a time to plant and a time to sew. There is a time to rest and a time to take action. So with that, trust that all is in divine and perfect order and it will all happen in due time. Don’t give up just before the blooming of what is coming to you. Just as spring has come, so will the blossoming in your life 🌱🌿
Genuine question… my grandparents were hidden in a barn during the Holocaust before hiding in a forest from the nazis. So… would you hide me? I’ll be curious to hear what people say 🤍 P.S. This is a stand for the Jewish people and their safety across the globe. This isn’t about the war in the Middle East. This does not negate what is happening or has happened to the Palestinian or Israeli people, but the sad truth of the horrendous rise in antisemitism across the globe. So… would you hide me? #wouldyouhideme
Here are some words I wanted to share in hopes that someone might extrapolate some inspiration from it… My father used to say אם אין אני לי מי לי. Which means “if I’m not for me who is.” As a child I used to resist this phrase, thinking that it was selfish, or created so much separateness. If you know my father you’d understand why I might have come to this conclusion. However, my understanding of this phrase has shifted over time. Yes, we live in a world where we are inherently self centered. We have individual needs, desires, perspectives, and we can only see the world through our own unique vantage point, and our limited/ unique perspective based on our upbringing, circumstances, culture, DNA, etc. AND though this may be true, do I desire a world in which we can live less selfishly and care about one another more deeply, absolutely! I mean, in truth there is no separation, as we are all part of the oneness that is… but I digress. May be a bit too esoteric for my point. Ha! My point being… it is an inherent need to be self focused, but I think there’s a distinction between being selfish and being self-full. I feared selfishness, believing it would create separateness, division, and less care… and yes, selfishness can do that. But to be self-full… that is something I am learning is a vital part of the human experience. It is something that actually creates more connection with self and others. If we are not full in ourselves, we are then constantly seeking fulfillment, validation, and happiness outside of ourselves. This, in my opinion, is a recipe for unhappiness. When we are “for ourselves,” we no longer need that from outside of us. And when we no longer need it from outside of us, we are no longer negatively affected by the things and people around us. We must learn to fill our own cup first and foremost or how will we be able to then do that for another. So… how will you choose to fill your cup today? How will you fill yourself up today and everyday? I feel there is only one thing left to say, if I so dare… to quote RuPaul, “If you can’t love yourself, how the hell are you gonna love somebody else. Can I get an Amen?” 📷: @yossefsagi ✨

Happy Valentine’s Day, loves ❤️💕
You can tell by my face how much I love these women. This is simply a post to share my love and appreciation for some of the incredible women in my life and these are some of my nearest and dearest, and some of the most incredible women I know. So… simply because they are amazing, please join me in celebrating them and go follow them. Thank me later 😘 It’s easy to fall prey to the societal belief that we must fight to be the best, or number one, creating separation from one another and some false hierarchy that simply does not exist. We are all unique (all 80 trillion unique cells in each of us). We are not meant to be like another. We are meant to thrive as these brilliantly unique individuals, so let’s stop comparing one another, but rather celebrate one another for the uniqueness and beauty that lives in each of us. Next time you feel the need to compare, why not choose inspiration instead? Ask yourself instead, what qualities in this person am I desiring to be more like? What is it that I’m desiring to emulate in them? In truth, we are all just a mirror for one another to see our own inner life. In truth… we are all just walking each other home… Meaning to ourselves 💕

Throwing it back to when I was supporting @womenshistory wearing my womens shirt in honor of women’s history month and in honor and support of an amazing cause! Sadly they’re no longer selling these, BUT… I’m thinking of auctioning off my personal shirt to raise money for the National Women’s History Museum. Who would buy it if so? I’ll even throw in an autograph on it and make sure it’s freshly worn for you. Ha! But truly, would you want me to auction it off for a great cause?? Let me know ⬇️❤️ #throwbackthursday #womenmakinghistory #womenshistorymonth
