I finally realized that waiting on someone else to bring me happiness would result in me waiting forever. When I finally woke from this stupor, I saw I was fully capable of saving myself and set out to do just that. I saw things clearly, followed the sunlight out of the woods, and left it behind me forever. The reality of being my own Prince Charming has far surpassed any expectation or dream I ever could have had and alas, I found my happily ever after.
