Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa Instagram – @kevinrodneysullivan appreciation post time. Over the last seven years, Kevin directed several chapters of #Riverdale, starting with our homecoming ep Season One. He called each episode a movie and pushed, gently and relentlessly, to make each one special. They’re all beautiful, including the ep that airs this week, Josie’s triumphant return. Over the years, Kevin’s become a friend and confidant. Every conversation I have with Kevin, I learn something new about him. That, as an actor, he’d been one of Fonzie’s friends on “Happy Days.” That he’d been a writer on “Fame.” That he was in “The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai.” He’s a champion and cheerleader for young actors, writers, and directors. (And not-so-young directors.)😉 May we have many more conversations, Kevin, many more collaborations. Looking forward to the next time we’re able to work together again.
