Katrina Scott Instagram – Isabelle is five 🥹🫶🏼 Is it normal to be this emotional about our children turning 5? It’s been half a decade, but it feels like yesterday that she was born. Somehow, I don’t remember what life was like without her. Being a mother has opened my eyes to the constant shift of life— starting anew with each season, while learning true acceptance of time and growth. While there is no manual on motherhood, we do have our hearts to guide us through each chapter. The greatest lesson has been adjusting to change— our children blossom right before our eyes. It’s up to us to get to know them, listen to their little voices, give them space to explore and discover the world, while being their safe home to come back to. It is an absolute privilege to be part of Isabelle’s life and to witness her grow into herself. 🦋 The most beautiful part about her is that she encourages everyone around her to be brave (“anyways you can do it”) while still taking courageous steps in her own life.
