Katrina Scott Instagram – This morning at 4am I woke up with a piercing pain in my heart- while my babies were safely tucked into bed and my husband by my side, I wept for every terror-stricken mother, every child fearing for their life, and every man wondering if they’ll be able to protect their family and neighbors. My entire being aches with families that are suffering and waiting for their children to come home. I’m hurting with everyone who is experiencing unimaginable loss. I couldn’t fall back asleep so I walked down to the ocean to watch the sunrise. As the sun came up I wondered how just an ocean away there was so much pain. I pray for humanity and peace. I pray for a world where we can co-exist peacefully with different beliefs, faith, and families. I pray for the Israeli community and the women, men, children, babies, and civilians. I pray for the Palestinian community, the families in Gaza, and 1 million children caught in the crossfire. I know none of us want innocent civilians to die… and it’s happening as I write this. It is unimaginable… it is too horrific. All of it. I’m so sorry. My heart is hurting with you.
