One of my most liked IG photos of all time. Can we beat the record?
The one where Perri showed up to the wrong wedding on the wrong night and didn’t take a picture to commemorate her first ever Wedding Crashing. Have you ever? Oh, what fun!
Hi.
Happy Thanksgiving, Humans. Honestly? Not in the mood to human today but I’m hoping being around family changes that. Enjoy yiur day. 🙂
Contemplating why I can’t stay off the phone on Shabbos. Telling you because I believe in transparency and I try my hardest not to be a hypocrit but, even after months, I can not resist looking. I was even looking at my phone when I told my fiance I couldn’t turn on the sound system for him and henceforth ruined my potential moment of yoga that turned into a moment of self pity. I try to remember that it’s not about being perfect, but I can’t help but beat myself up when my will power gets the best of me. I know it’s a process. I know it’s a process. I know it’s a process. I’m sure that’s not the only thing I did this weekend. There are so many things you’re not encouraged to do on Shabbos (like carry anything in your hands or pockets outside your home. Ie. Keys) and I did that too, but why can’t I get past that Hashem doesn’t need perfection, just effort? Maybe it’s because I don’t use enough of my will and that makes me feel guilty because I know and Hashem knows. What is this vessel for if not to live as Hashem has commanded us? That’s what makes me feel most whole and fulfilled. I want to do better and there is still so much to learn and so far to go.
What are you most thankful for? 👇 I have to say, my faith and my family, both of whom which I would not still be here without.
Perri circa 2007. Age: 20. Hair: natural. 😄
My favorite thing about the fall is the crisp cool air and foliage. NJ has been serving this season. What’s your favorite season and favorite activity during that season? I’ll always love a bike ride through the trees. But I really want to head up to Mountain Creek in Vernon and check out their Mountain Coaster!
Using AI to be a blonde. I’m contemplating.
What’s one thing you did today that you’re proud of. I went for a walk. 😂🙈🙃👍🤷♂️
I rolled through another stop sign today.
Warning: Trouble Human-ing Mental Struggles Activated. Feeling inadequate latley. Feeling a little lost. Feeling a little indecisive and indifferent. What’s the cure? How are you? Happy Monday.

I slept too much this weekend. What about you?
I hope your day is bright.
What’s the most important realization you ever made? Isn’t it incredible that we have these minds that control our bodies, and it can think or we can use it to think and the more we learn and grown it changes the way we live and perceive our lives?
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend. Dont forget to look up and enjoy the beautiful fall foliage and feel the crisp cool air on your skin. Take a drive and roll down the windows. Beauty and life is all around you. I’ll be spending Shabbos with my friend Chana and her family. It’s the first Shabbos I was invited to a friend and im so excited to spend it with them. They were so kind and generous to host me. I’ve only been observing Shabbos since June, and while it feels like a long time, and the weeks come and go so much faster than they used to, it’s my first Shabbos outside my own home. I encourage you to invite your faith into your life this weekend. It doesnt have to be all or nothing. Maybe you light a candle and say the Shabbat prayer and still do everything else the way you normally do, but every little bit of faith you incorporate into your life brings love and light into this world and we need that more than ever. And maybe next week you do a little more, maybe not. Thats ok. It’s a process. Now is not a time to hide our faith, but a time to share it and be proud. That what’s the don’t want. That’s why we can’t shy away. Not now. Not ever. I’m personally looking forward to human connection, great weather, conversation, kids, doggos and walks. Shabbat Shalom, friends.
Feeling angsty, probably won’t delete later. Did you know it’s a Mitzvah to eat breakfast? I didn’t have time for breakfast yesterday and I felt it all day and in every interaction I had. I was moody, less agreeable, less talkative and friendly. Also, breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I make an eggwhite bite wrap with arugula, ketchup and honey mustard. Yum. What’s your favorite meal of the day??
Should I go Blue?
College Perri just hits different.
Please read and share if you feel so inclined.. 1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. 3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; 4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; 6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; 8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
Peek a boo.
A few of you have been interested in my Musical Theatre history so here is a video of one of my last performances about 7 years ago! I performed as Nellie Forebush in “South Pacific” at @playsintheparkedisonnj and had the best time with the best cast. I went to school for musical theatre at @bostonconservatory from 2005-2007 then left to pursue my professional career. I did a children’s tour and some regional work and then transitioned into TV and film. I have some of that footage, too! Should I share more of this??
Part 1 in installment 2 of ” I used to do Musical Theatre” here is the cast of South Pacific and I performing Was That Man Right Out Of My Hair! Well Part of it. The rest to come. This was some of the most fun I’ve ever had on a stage. Tomorrow I’ll share some commercial footage. 🙂
