While there’s still no known cure for these types of tumors, this is definitely the news we were hoping for and it feels like we have so much to be optimistic about moving forward. Pathology is saying the tumor is a grade 2 Oligodendroglioma. They’re still waiting for the results of the final molecular pathology from the lab, but @nyulangone is currently 98% sure that we’re looking at the best case scenario. Oligodendroglioma make up only bout 4% of all brain tumors. Even though the operation has been classified as a gross total resection (aka they got it ALL!), it’s still possible for the tumor to come back. Their more aggressive relatives, astrocytomas, are much more common so we’re definitely acknowledging our blessings on that front. At this point my doctors are not recommending any immediate continued treatment. This is obviously fantastic news, and we will be moving forward with monitoring and getting scans every 2-3 months for the next few years. Current plan is to schedule my next MRI for early in the new year and to connect with the neuro-oncologist who will prescribe treatment if any future scans determine it necessary. • Docs have given me thumbs up to start some light exercise. So now I get to start rebuilding physically! I am going to bust my ass to get back into fighting/ dancing shape 💪🏼🧠 Life has such a beautiful glow lately that I want to soak up and share with everyone. No matter what happens down the line I know more than ever how strong I am and how much love and support I have lifting me up. Just look at the way @sophiethoerner is looking at me after we got the good news!
Hurtling towards the @outsidersmusical and my Broadway debut! I’m so excited to be in a creative space with our incredible team again. I will be creating my ensemble role, Brill, and will also serve as one of the covers for Bob, played by @kevinwilliampaul. These past few months have been an epic saga! But I am feeling really good and have started exercising to get ready for the physical demands of the show. This is only the beginning. I’ve got GREAT EXPECTATIONS for what’s to come! 💪🏼

A bit of choreo set to new music. Woke up this morning with this song in my head. @mrjacobbanks concert was @sophiethoerner and my first date, so his music is a constant source of joy in our home 💙
Sheeesh, there’s so much beauty out there. I feel so blessed to be an artist, constantly searching for meaning in all the chaos. Happy to continue answering questions as best I can! And massive shout outs and Love to everyone at @nyulangone who quite litterally saved my life 🥹🫰🏼
Throw back to class on set with @netflix Tiny Pretty Things. These jumps are far from perfect, the slow mo really clearly shows all the technical blips. But it sure makes it easy to see what areas need fine tuning! Just really love the cast for holding space for me while I learn new tricks. Ya’ll know season 2 Oren would’ve been an absolute savage!!!
Healing and improvement isn’t linear. Embracing that helps me to stay an active participant in the process no matter what shape it takes!

Does water know? It rises and falls like breath Totally unconscious of the life it gives. Or is it? Does the sun know? A shining god made of matter Totally unconscious of the life it gives. Or is it? When I listen, I hear them chatter: Do You know? The crashing and burning is what makes it all. If We can, You can Live

Chaotic Improv from the Covid vault 🧠 no idea what song I was working with. Gotta get the zoomies out!
This year has changed me and my life forever. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I’ve faced the biggest challenges I could’ve imagined and I’ve received more love and support than I ever have before. What a ride. Welcoming 2024 with an open heart, open arms, and an open mind 😜 Hope everyone rings in the New Years safely and with heaps of love surrounding them!🩶
Looking through some old work, and suddenly everything I’ve ever made has new meaning. We created this piece through @guggenheim @worksandprocess with @gabestoneshayer and @zimmi9 after the pandemic in January in a freezing cold theater in Catskill, NY. I love that art lives and breathes with its creators, meanings change and deepen depending on what life has in store for the artists. This is part two in a 3 part video work we created in residency at The @bridgestreettheatre. Putting the link to the full vid in my bio. Apparently the glioma had been in my brain for 5-10 years so it was absolutely chillin in my noodle during this creative process. The music by @fredagainagainagainagainagain couldn’t have been more cathartic at the time and almost feels even more so after the #lemon roller coaster!
Today’s 🧠 recovery activity was coloring books with my Mom! She picked her own, I promise!
