I’m in Jackson Hole right now, and last night I didn’t go out and ski, so the guilt about not skiing, and not doing a workout instead was mounting. 😣
I’m no different than many of you when I say the mental gymnastics about choosing exercise or blowing it off went on for hours. Ugh!
But a tiny voice said, “Who are you with it, and who would you be without it?” Decision made.
I grabbed a couple of 15 pound dumbbells and started alternating climbing and sprinting two sets of stairs two stairs at a time until I hit 500 calories.
Movement of any kind always wins out over doing nothing.
