Something that really hit me when I met the families of hostages in Israel is how, in all their agony, they are rooting for one another— even if their family member hasn’t yet come home, they feel happy for those who are getting to once again hugged their loved ones. It gives them hope.
During this interview last week, @foxnews also asked my thoughts on Susan Sarandon’s comment that Jews are getting a “taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim”…
We gotta stop talking like this. It’s so divisive. It pits people against each other. And Jews know very well what it’s like to know persecution. They’ve been fighting for their existence for thousands of years. May the Middle East know peace.
