We are coming up on 100 days that 136 hostages are still held in captivity by these barbaric terrorists. We have heard horrible stories about their treatment from the brave hostages who were released. They have been tortured, raped, starved, denied lifesaving medical care. This week, Israel will defend herself against preposterous allegations of genocide in the International Court of Justice. That’s right, the term which was created to describe the largest killing of Jews in the 20th century is now being weaponized against the Jewish state during the largest killing of Jews in the 21st century. Israel is not committing genocide, it was dragged into a war when Hamas attacked on October 7th. Once again, this is not a war between Israel and the Palestinian people. This is a war between Israel and Hamas, a genocidal terrorist organization whose stated goal is the eradication of Jews. A stated goal of genocide. If following the hearing this week, the International Court of Justice calls for Israel to stop defending itself, they will effectively hand out a victory to Hamas. The International Court of Justice should not only refrain from issuing a judgement calling for Israel to stop defending itself, but this shameful case should be dismissed and thrown out in its entirety.
