Excuse me- but f**k those Doctors. 🙄
When facing a lifelong disability the LAST thing you need is to be told what (they think) you CANT DO.
It would be much more helpful to focus on what you CAN DO.
And look at ways you can adapt to make it work for you.
(Even though I struggled to sit/stand/walk, there’s so many types of Acting which demand differently of our bodies- like voiceovers! ALSO- what happened to disabled representation on screen 🤨)
A difficult diagnosis, doesn’t mean the end, it’s a pivot on your path.
Sure my career looks a little different to how I once imagined, but there is still space for me 🙏🏼 as there is space for all of us. 🙌🏼
We NEED people from all walks of life on screen.
For the tapestry of Cinema is woven with the vast colours of different peoples perspectives and different peoples experiences. Just as humanity is enriched by the same ♥️
