Laura Vitale Instagram – This was my why, my reason and purpose behind At My Italian Table. To pass on her legacy, to watch my little girl make gnocchi for the first time with my nonna (this truly was the first time) and we captured it to share it with you because this moment is a moment I never want to forget! The same hands that stood on top of mine as I learned to roll them, the same woman who would make so many batches and big pots of sauce with bracioletti to serve them with to feed pretty much the whole neighborhood, all these moments are in my book. Laura Vitale Instagram – Guagliu, ma che ne sapete de fasul e scarol???? Un piatto classico, cucina “povera” che i ricchi desiderano!! Guys what do know about beans and escarole?!! A classic “cucina povera” dish that the rich desire (as Nonna would say) top classic, you can make it soupy or like this which is incredible on its own with bread and an extra drizzle of strong extra virgin olive oil or on the side of anything (along side sausage is a top fav) everything is by eye, but I’ll do an in depth video on LItK next week! I partially cook my escarole and never would start this dish without anchovies, otherwise my Nonna would revoke my birth certificate 😂 saw @davidroccosvita make a version of this the other day and immediately craved my nonna’s version 🥰
