Don’t get me wrong ladies, it’s not bad to be assertive, a protector, a provider, and strong, but it’s a problem if it’s in your primary state and off-balance to your natural essence. And that’s what was happening to me.
Getting rid of past traumas and healing from major disappointments and sadness has now allowed me to be free to laugh and feel confident in my own skin again. It’s allowed me to find the right balance between my masculine & feminine energy.

Heading to Rome, I had unexpected flight delays which caused me to have to be re-routed including a 5 hour layover. In the end it took me over 20 hours to get there, but once I landed, I didn’t care how tired I was, I was going to take advantage and explore as much as I could that evening.
The Coliseum at night was a must! There is so much history in this building which dates back to 80 AD! It is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheatre in the world, despite its age. 😳
I feel we can learn a lot from historical buildings where they didn’t even have the machinery we have today yet they built masterpieces!
How much do we rely on conveniences today? How much do we say, “it’s not possible” when instead we should be saying, “there has to be a way!”
I love to travel because it expands my mindset and shows me what others did with their own two hands which all started with their imaginations and a will to get it done.
As I walked around the vicinity I also stumbled upon a small church with nuns and other really cool streets.
Bottom line, traveling is a must. It’s educational. It’s enlightening. It gives you outside perspective on different cultures and helps to expand your horizons. 😊

But unlike other times that I have visited Italy, this trip has been about doing some mission work, visiting different churches & favorite spots, journaling, and listening. And all of it has been tremendously fulfilling but I wasn’t prepared for what happened when I visited The Vatican. As I walked through those doors, I was met with God’s energy and love where I couldn’t hold back the tears. 😭
It’s wild that my word for the year has been RELEASE because that is exactly what I did. I released some pains from my past that I didn’t even realize I was still holding on to. But as soon as I laid it all out at His feet, I walked away completely refreshed and renewed.

Today I embarked on an overseas trip to an undisclosed place.
I’ll share my experience later but for now, it’s time to take a break from posting and be still and fully present.
One thing I know is that I won’t be the same girl returning home. I look forward to sharing my journey with you but for now it’s time to ✍️ &👂.
When I moved from California to South Carolina, I was nervous that I wouldn’t be able to find a new church that I connected with quickly. But God knew I needed community and helped me find @eastlakeonline . 🙏🏼
To say I was welcomed with open arms is an understatement. Especially by the talented worship team, led by the incredible @philjameslive , along with the amazing Lead Pastor Ray Washington! 😊
Getting a weekly dose of community and the word really helps to set up the week. I totally recommend it!!

If you have fallen off, ask yourself if the WHY you are doing something is big enough? The WHY is important because the WHY dictates WHY you are making a commitment . The WHY dictates what your purpose is. The WHY pulls you through those hard times. The WHY diminishes your excuses! The WHY allows you to achieve your dreams!
Make the “WHY you want to accomplish something” bigger than yourself!
If you have fallen off course, no worries, everyday is a new opportunity to get back up and try again. Everyday is an opportunity of WHY you want to become the best version of yourself!
So don’t lose hope. Instead, get excited! Embrace your goals, cherish them, and squeeze everything out of life that you can!
