Officially entering my villain era in 2024. Knowing my worth, owning my shine, taking no shit. No more forgiveness for casual cruelty or breaking of boundaries. No more letting anyone push me down and claim they’re pulling me up. No more changing myself for anyone else or accepting the bare minimum. I’m standing on business. Today, that attitude in women can be described as ‘villainy’. I’m being a bitch. Asking for too much. Being selfish. Being a snake. Well, hiss hiss, here I come. Happy New Year’s Eve, everyone, I’ll see you in 2024.🖤🔪🐍 📷: @kameraninja
first photo dump of 2024 ✨ sorry not sorry like 40% of this post is bts from the goddess photoshoot i did— i can’t wait to share the finished product! 👀
“Those who stay will be champions.” 💛💙 Today is the Rose Bowl which means TODAY IS THE DAY I GET TO SEE MY WOLVERINES IN PERSON AGAIN! I haven’t been to a Michigan football game since homecoming in 2017 and, if you can tell by my outfit, I’m very excited. HAIL TO THE VICTORS 🌹 Corset: custom made using a UMich jersey and UMich flag by @missymadecorsets Earrings: one says “GO” the other says “BLUE” Jewelry: “Go Blue” friendship bracelet, my 2016 class ring Hair: a large yellow hair bow

2023 started of wonderfully, but WOW that dumpster fire lit up fast. Yes, this post is a highlight reel. But I don’t often photograph my lows (other than the whole broken leg thing, that was begging to be documented). But I like looking at the highs, you know? It reminds me to smile!! ✨ Through both physical and emotional breaks this year, I put myself back together even stronger (just like my leg that’s now reinforced with a titanium plate, a plethora of titanium screws, and a bone graft). Here’s to 2024 and the shit I’ll survive no matter what. 🤍🍾🥂
Mind if I get vulnerable for a sec? It’s a bit heavy to start but I promise the end is full of joy. I’m not ashamed of it; many times I wanted to leave this earth. One time I actually tried. I wanted to just make the pain stop. I’ve been on a mental health journey for most of my life— if you’ve followed me for a while you’ve known this. There have been a lot of hard times the world has seen, and many many many many more I have kept to myself. Recently, with a very hard year both mentally and physically, I once again found myself in a familiar headspace, one I hoped I’d never return to. But clearly, I’m still here. Not only am I still here, but I have taken the tools of over a decade of therapy and self work to realize: surviving isn’t just strength. It’s defiance. And I’m nothing if not a petty bitch fueled by spite. I am fighting so hard to make sure that I won’t let anything— or especially ANYONE— belittle me. No one will any longer dull my shine. My love will only be celebrated, no longer tolerated. No more begging for scraps. Not in friendships, not in work, and especially not in a romantic relationship. I’ve finally accepted that jumping off very tall somethings won’t make them come running. Out of pure spite, I’ve grown so much more self worth this year. Out of pure defiance, the loud vitriolic voices of toxic masses stopped overpowering my own voice. Just to make sure they know they haven’t won, I’m still breathing. It’s the greatest revenge for people who wish you harm: living another day. So. Why am I over sharing rn? My new tattoo obviously. “Long story short, I survived”. Now before you roll your eyes at the Taylor Swift lyric, let me explain. Taylor is the inspiration and the blueprint for defiantly continuing on. She has been slut shamed, humiliated, bullied, ridiculed, stolen from, and underestimated. But she came back. She came back, reclaimed her power, and this was her fucking year. Everyone who wished Taylor would fail is screaming and crying and throwing up right now because she is SHINING. And so am I. So here I am. Folklore font, Evermore lyrics. My life going forward is officially (Mica’s Version). 🌿✨ (scroll to end for “;” meaning)
