Jesse Jackson Instagram – Today we find ourselves in the midst of a storm. When I heard the news of the passing of Dexter Scott King today, my heart ached. My wife,Jackie and the entire Jackson family extend our prayers and condolences to his cherished wife,Leah, to his beloved siblings, Martin III, Bernice and the King family. My heart also aches in memory of his parents, Dr. King and Mrs. King, who thoughtfully and with intention named him after Dexter Baptist church where Dr. King First served as pastor.
Dexter, followed in the footsteps of his father, attending Morehouse College and becoming Chairman,CEO and President of the King Center, exhibiting as his father dreamed, the content of his character.
