The story goes way back to 1998 when @shama_pawar ma’am, the founder of @kishkindatrust, launched a sustainable project to use up the banana bio waste and water hyacinth into beautiful items. We made it under 4K actually 😋😋 I often come across people saying that they don’t travel because travelling is expensive… and I AGREE! Travelling can be expensive if you choose that (which is also OKAY!)😃 What makes it expensive or cheap are the CHOICES you make! If you choose to enjoy the simple pleasures over luxury, then travelling can be very CHEAP!!! When I started out as a college student, I chose hostels, public buses, street food and even hitchhiking to be able to afford those trips. Even today I choose to travel this way because beyond the money part, these things give you a true local experience of a place! And this CHOICE is beyond just cheaper options while travelling. I choose to prioritise travel even in my daily life… saving money for trips instead of buying branded things, optimising my leaves in a way that I can use them for travel, choosing to take weekend trips instead of spending on parties and enjoy the discomfort to save that money cause the beautiful memories would make up for it anyway ❤️ You can get better deals and save even more money if you – 📍Stay in hostels or govt. run stays 📍Eat local food from local shops & cafes 📍Volunteering (that’s how I started travelling during my early days) 📍Work for hostels – showcase your skills and get to explore in return 📍Having a monthly amount dedicated to your travel fund (no matter how small) 📍Planning in advance to get cheaper prices And even if you don’t want to volunteer but just have a relaxed vacay you don’t need fancy stays or extra luxury. Can you believe this to be Oman??!!🏝 Even though this middle-eastern country is known to be a hot dessert it lies at the edge, giving it a vast coastline with truly beautiful beaches and islands, especially around Muscat!! You should definitely add Bandar Khayran and the Daymaniyat Islands to your list. Pristine white sands and gentle turquoise blue waters are not the only special thing about this place.. the marine life here is so rich that you can find endangered sea turtles, dolphins, untouched coral reefs, morray eals, sting rays, zebra sharks as well as whale sharks!!🪸🐠 It’s one of the best places in the world for scuba diving and snorkelling. Water activities range from ₹1500 and can go up to ₹8000 depending on the activities you club while camping at the bioluminescent beaches is FREE but renting the camping gear can cost around ₹2000 for 2 people. Some things to remember- 🐢 Turtle hatching season is from May to October so you can witness the hatching but CANNOT camp on the beach at this time! 🦈 Whale sharks migrate here only in the summer season which is August to October. 💙 Best time to experience bioluminescence is from Feb to March

I can’t believe we pulled this off @julian_boes_ 😂 Oooof I can’t believe I have turned TWENTY-FIVE this year!!! Seems like a milestone and looking back I’m super super grateful at everything that has worked out till now! LOVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST❤️ Toh ab obviously thoda apne offbeat style mein celebrate karna toh banta hai na? Since I was in Oman and this beautiful country has so much to offer toh I decided to take up an adventure of hunting a deserted island and camping the night there! Now I know for many people this is the opposite of an amazing birthday plan but mere liye there’s nothing better hahahaha!! AND YES MISSION WAS A SUCCESS woohoo but even if it wasn’t, it would still be an AWESOME day cause I spent it doing what I love doing the most… chasing adventure and seeking discomfort!💯 Now this beautiful place where we found bioluminescent waters is Bandar Khayran. You can also do a night kayaking tour here to experience this. But if you’d rather avoid the thrill, the months of October to April is the best time to spot this sparkling sand✨ and you can find these at many beaches along the coastline of Muscat!! Oh Morocco ❤️😭🇲🇦! Did you know Indians only need an E-visa for Morocco btw? Why don’t more of us travel here – you’ll absolutely loooove it. The Sahara desert truly stole my heart! Nothing, I repeat nothing compares to this view. When you’re there you really feel like this tiny human being in the middle of just waves and waves of sand. I highly recommend going to Erg Chegaga over Erg Chebbi – if you want to enjoy the solitude and beauty of the Sahara. For the full video do watch my other reel on the Sahara desert experience. I was in AWE. Before you say “Rajasthan” is better, I lived there for 2 years and yes it’s beautiful! What are those COLOURS? I sure am so how could I not share this amazing experience with y’all?! SO now you guys already know that I like to be known as a professional waterfall hunter and so I’ve hunted a lot of beautiful ones before… BUT as soon as I saw the MILKY blue colours of the waterfall in Cebu (Philippines) I was ON THE FLOOR!!😍 In my opinion, Philippines has the best waterfalls I’ve seen yet! Seriously, walking up a waterfall like that seemed impossible before! I had the best time hiking and conquering heights straight out of my comfort zone!!!💯 This spot was📍AGUINID Falls in Samboan, Cebu and it was super offbeat.. almost like a hidden secret. No luxury pool could ever match the thrill of this natural GEM! Felt like we were the only ones out there!! ✅ Keep in mind that all waterfalls here have a small fee of around ₹150 ($1.5) ✅ Also PLEASE remember to keep it clean! The days I enjoyed the most were when I rock climbed with my brother, went out to Muay Thai clubs and just did something active! To me that’s a vacation.
