The huntsman was no match for the girl & her pack of wolfhounds. 🐺🧺🥀
Got to live out my fantasy of running with the wolves (so to speak) with this lovely pack of Irish Wolfhounds. When I saw that @ashfordcastle had an option to “take a morning walk on our grounds with a pack of wolfhounds” I naturally leapt at the chance. They are curious, independent, and (in the case of humans) quite gentle. I may not get to hold a lamb on this trip to Ireland but this was just as lovely albeit in a far different way.
ps : a big thank you to @krystal_bick who came up with the plot here to turn this into a dark retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, in which she never really was in distress, and the Huntsman never stood a chance.

With this box of odds and ends, I found it easy picture characters (each a little extravagant) off on some grand adventure. I craved a world of fantasy – which if I think about it I suppose that’s in some way how I’ve ended up here. Creating photos and cinematic moments that each feel like their own little world, where I can (in a different way) play a character.
And while some of my imagination has become reality, it’s nice to know that all these years later I can still drape myself in a sheet and make believe that it’s a ballgown.
