New year / new bedroom 💫 I’ve been working hard on giving my master bedroom a makeover and I am the happiest of little campers about it. It’s pretty incredible all of the different lives a room is capable of living. They say your bedroom is your sanctuary yet, for reasons unknown, this was the room I gave ZERO thought to until recently. It took four years for me to finally find the inspiration I had been looking for. I was scrolling the internet one day when I came across this green and blue stripped wallpaper from @sandbergwallpaper and was immediately smitten. Then I saw a photo of it styled with a piece of dark antique furniture and I knew right away that I had to use this paper and create the moody haven of my dreams. I used to only sleep in this room but now I spend as much time in it as humanly possible. It really doubles as my office at this point because I never want to leave. It’s officially Valentine’s month and my niece and nephew came to visit this weekend so, naturally, we had to have a Valentine’s breakfast. Valentine’s Day breakfast is, by far, my kids’ favorite breakfast of the year and definitely the one that I go all out on. Pink milk is probably their favorite tradition (which they were very disappointed to realize this year is actually just red food coloring in regular milk, as opposed to the strawberry milk that they thought they had been drinking all of these years).
