I used to be up for “it” far more than I am now….and TMI, but it makes me cramp terribly after we do “it” this time around😩…that just makes me scared so I really don’t wanna do “it.”🤪
I’m so thankful to have such a loving, kind, supportive and *patient* husband.💕

Ten years ago today I was lonely & single searching for my soul mate. I was talking to producers about being on a show called “The Love Experiment” (They called Married at First Sight that way back on our first season bc who in their right mind would legally marry a complete stranger?!)🙋🏼♀️🤣
I was truly looking for someone who could make me laugh and who wanted to be a daddy bc I definitely wanted kiddos!🍼👶 I was also hoping this person could calm my anxious AF mind🤪 and give me a state of relaxation by just being next to him.🙏💕
@doughehner and I were scientifically paired and considered “the perfect match.” We didn’t even know each other’s names on our wedding day. We were truly complete strangers committing our lives to each other.👰🤵
We celebrate TEN YEARS MARRIED this month.🎉 It still blows my mind that this whole married at first thing worked out for us.🤯🙏💕
If you’ve been around, you know we have been open and honest about some really rough patches in our marriage … but isn’t that what everyone goes through? You don’t get to a decade married without going through something at some point!🤪 It’s never going to be all rainbows and sunshine.☀️ 🌈
…I am so thankful that God brought us together in the most unusual way. I’m so proud of both of us for sticking it out during the harder times. And I feel so, so, so blessed to get to raise a bunch of little kiddos with a man who isn’t scared to change diapers.🙏🍼👶

It’s been over three years of trying. Ive been diagnosed with secondary infertility, a blocked fallopian tube, MTHFR, hypothyroidism, “low-normal” AMH, advanced maternal age, and I’m probably missing something else that was thrown at us ….. BUT GOD WILL WORK MIRACLES IF YOU BELIEVE!🙏✨🤰👶
That first test threw me for a loop, but I knew in my heart even the faintest line is a LINE when it comes to pregnancy tests!🤗😭🙏🤰✨

The moment my husband found out I am PREGNANT after 3 years of trying.🥹🙏👶🎉 We just got home from Orlando. He was outside unloading the car. I really wanted to surprise him, but I couldn’t wait! I hid the digital test under my sweater & took the lined pregnancy test out and asked him to see if there was a line .. the line was *so* faint.☺️
After he bent over to study the test, I pulled out the digital to confirm WE ARE PREGNANT!!!🤰🥳💃🕺
I filmed the whole thing … it’s wobbly and shaky bc I was crying …. But I got his whole raw reaction on video!!!🎉

It’s real!🫣We’re really pregnant!🤰 I got my beta HCG levels back and EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT!!!🙏👶 I am still so shocked🤯 and SO HAPPY!!!🤗 Prayers really do work!🎉💕🙏
My first beta HCG was 3,299 at 5 weeks and then two days later it was 6,368!!!🙏😭🤰
I’m feeling *so pregnant* for being so early…I don’t remember it being this rough with any of my other pregnancies (except for Johnathan. That pregnancy was rough but for different reasons) 👼🙏💙
I’m a “geriatric pregnant lady” this time around so maybe that’s why it’s really beating me up!👵🏻🤪🤣
Every time I feel sick and tired I just say THANK YOU to God above. Im so, so *thankful* that God has blessed us with another baby to love on in this world.🙏🙏🙏
I probably sound like a broken record at this point, but if you’re struggling with infertility or secondary infertility- or even loss after loss – don’t lost hope.🙏 It’s so hard to stay positive, but if you feel in your heart it’s meant to happen for you, keep believing. Tune out negative comments and focus on your health & faith. That is truly what helped me after 3 years of trying. My friend recommended a book called Super Natural Childbirth … it’s a little “out there” but I read it and really opened my mind to what it had to say … and the next month we became pregnant.🤯 (I shared this whole LONG story on our podcast @hotmarriagecoolparents if you’re wanting more info on this.)
I’m only sharing so much bc I just want to be able to help other women who are seeing this pregnancy announcement and kind of hurting inside.😞 I *FEEL* for you. That was me SO👏MANY👏TIMES👏
You can be happy for someone else and still hurt for yourself.💯 And I just want to help you if I can.🙏💕

On January 25th my kids kept rubbing my belly saying “you have a baby in your belly!” I thought it was cute.🥰 Never in my wildest dreams did I think there was actually a baby growing in there….😱👏🥳🤰✨👶
On February 4th we had just gotten home from taking our daughter to Orlando for her dance performance. I fell asleep in the car and my breasts were sore.
I tried not to “over think” the symptoms I was having bc I’d had them before and wasn’t pregnant. We had been trying to conceive for years. I was so sick of getting my hopes up just to be let down.😏
I was trying not to test before my missed period bc it’s kinda torture seeing negative after negative when you’re trying to conceive. But I just told myself I’d only take one test just to see if MAYBE there’d be a line.🤪😅
As the urine ran through the test I about had a heart attack! UNBELIEVABLE!!! I saw the faintest line!!!
I broke my promise to myself and grabbed a digital test. Those bad boys are so expensive so I was trying to use them sparingly but I just HAD to know!😆😂

If you’re struggling with infertility or secondary infertility & you feel in your heart that you’re meant to have a child/more children, don’t lose hope.🙏 It’s a hard, lonely, sad journey seeing negative test after negative test but if you know in your heart that you’re meant to have a baby it is worth the fight to get him/her!!
I know pregnancy announcements are so hard if you’re trying to conceive with no luck…but I hope this one will give you a little hope bc I became pregnant naturally with all the odds stacked against me. It can happen for you too! If you’re reading this feeling that sting wishing it was you, I’m praying YOU! You’re not doing this alone bc I’m right here with ya ! I grew up not knowing my father. There is a blank line on my birth certificate where his name should be. My step dad was in and out of jail and to be honest, I was scared of him. I never knew how amazing a daddy could be until I got to watch my husband become one to our children.🥰

Mom and Dad are on a DATE!💕 It’s been a while since we got a sitter and had dinner alone. Doug surprised me with a reservation to the very first restaurant we ever went to in Sarasota.🥰
We surprised the kids with a fun scavenger hunt that led to Valentine’s Day gifts before we left so they didn’t feel left out.☺️

My husband and I began talking to producers TEN YEARS ago this month to find out if we’d get a match and be married at first sight…now it’s a decade later and I dug out this clip of my hubby before he ever met me asking the experts for a wife and hoping to one day have “kids with ice cream all over their face in the backseat”….

We only had friends with kids over bc otherwise we’d totally ruin the game for anyone else.💯😅 The kids were having glow in the dark dance parties & sword fights while the game was on! No one without kids would’ve wanted to be there!🤪😆
I hope Travis apologizes to his coach … that wasn’t a good look for him. I know he’s a great player but no one should treat their coach like that!!😫
And omg USHER STILL HAS IT!🔥 All in all, I think the game was amazing going in overtime like that … all the commercials were so good too! and that half time show was 🔥!

This was the very moment I began falling in love with my stranger husband.🥰 We were on our honeymoon and had just shared our very first kiss.😘 This moment still gives me all sorts of happy butterflies in my belly!🥰
We’re coming to the end of our first DECADE married so we’ve been re-living & re-watching how it all began…way back on our season (S1) of married at first sight.💕

When did you know your partner was “the one?” For me, this was just the beginning .. there were many other times that confirmed it! But it’s pretty cool having our first time falling for each other caught on camera!💯❤️
Total random side note but I have to brag on my “stranger hubby” … he legit saved someone’s life today!🤯
He was playing tennis and heard someone collapse a couple courts down. He ran over, felt for a pulse and when there was none he began CPR while someone else got the AED. When they came back no one seemed to know how to use the defibrillator so my hubby followed the pictures for directions and was able to successfully bring the man back to life after two shocks!!! From what I’ve heard the man is in the hospital and continues to do well!!! GOD IS GOOD! He tells the story himself (and way better🤪) in my stories!
My husband is my hero! I love this man so much! How on earth did I get so lucky to be randomly matched with him!!?? 🙏❤️🙏❤️
