For better moods and cardiac health there is so much to value in a good nights sleep. Our sleep patterns are just as important as our diet and our exercise routines. We tend to underestimate the value of sleep. I recently started tracking my sleep patterns and have become a little obsessed with it. I guess that just goes back to some of my personality traits. I started tracking around Christmas time and it is literally the first thing that I check as soon as I wake up – I do know the importance of sleep and I try to sleep at least 8 hours each night. The quality of my sleep on a consistent basis is around 92 to 94%. If you are looking to improve your sleep patterns – try tiny habits like going to bed each night at a set time and putting your phone on airplane mode. Our phones are a stress mechanism, although you may not want to admit it, but we find it easy to scroll through social media during any downtime that we have so don’t be tempted in the middle of the night even if you have to charge your phone on the opposite side of the room or in separate room. Love yourself enough to give yourself a beautiful gift. A life you love. Promise yourself you will be good to you – and true to who you are at your core. Do actions and think thoughts which match with your goal. Recognize that whenever you break a self promise, big or small, you create stress and sadness. Show yourself some love by keeping your self promises. ❤️
Self control is strength. Calmness is truly a mastery. Although we can’t always control what is happening – we can always control how we react to the situation. ❤️
There is no magic potion – you have to eat healthy and live healthy to be healthy and look healthy. Keep good food in your fridge and you will only eat good food. We live in a world where majority of society believe medicine is the answer to disease – Turn your food into medicine and you won’t need medicines anymore. I mean as most of us know – everything does happen in the kitchen…

Although the mornings can be busy. I always find time to be grateful for the life that I have been given. We have so much to be thankful for and expressing gratitude brings joy and happiness. I personally practice a simple exercise each morning expressing 5 things that I’m grateful for. It doesn’t have to be hard – it can be as simple as “I’m thankful the sun in shining today and I’m able to soak it up” I promise if you implement something as simple as this into your life. You are bound to feel happier and more fulfilled 🩷
Life is truly simple but some of us insist on making it complicated. Life is meant to be lived – not over thought. ❤️
