Christiane Paul Instagram – Still…. Still war, still war against millions of civilians
but we are still with the people of Ukraine,
with all the people, who had to leave their homes, with all the children, who had to leave their homes,
with all the men, who are fighting now for their country.
Never was Europe, never were the people of Europe so united to fight back, give shelter, to stand up and to stand together, to give help and hope!
But I feel sorry too, I feel sorry for all the Russians who have to suffer now under the consequences of all the economic sanctions. It will, of course, hit mostly the poor people- like always. And I feel sorry too for all the social isolation that now follows. I grew up with Russian culture, literature, film, music- with the Russian soul—- there are, they are good people.
And they are also people who stand up now, in their own country- against their leader.
