Many times I struggled wanting to be perfect, and I never stopped to think about whether I was attempting to be perfect for me or perfect by the standards of others. perfection by the standards of others always led me to self doubt, and self-hatred, attempting to infuse in me a foundation of not being good enough until I achieved or was like others. as I move through this process of understanding, I realize that perfect for me did not mean that I was chaos to the world. It meant that I was peace to myself so that I could navigate the world.
