@Maidenfactor and her all-female crew completed her last round the world race on Tuesday 16th, completing 28,674 nautical miles and 154 days at sea in the Ocean Globe Race. Today, we were able to celebrate together with HRH Princess Haya at an event organized by MDL Marinas and the South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show to honour Maiden and her crew’s incredible achievements and unyielding dedication, which helps support The Maiden Factor Foundation for girls’ educational charities globally. It has been a privilege and an honour to have been ‘Godmother’ to Maiden since the Whitbread Round the World Race in 89/90 and to watch her continue to shine over the years. Congratulations to the amazing Captain & crew! You are a remarkable show of strength and determination.
