In case you wondered, I love my family. There’s about 200 more people who make @youngsheldoncbs happen and I’m grateful for each of them. We will make the best 7th season we can possibly make- and behind the scenes there will be lots of laughter and lots of tears because I love all of these people so much.

I love her love her love her love her love her. It has been a joy being Moonpie to Ms Annie’s MeeMaw. Season One I was delighted to discover that we were neighbors who both lived near the studio. It felt like having a relative who lived right down the street. Ms Annie is always up for adventures and capers. When I was little we would go on walks and she’d let me put the bugs I collected in her pockets. That’s just the kind of MeeMaw she is. On set I used to snuggle up next to her- she said it recharged my batteries, and she was right. She makes the very best quesadillas, throws an awesome Halloween party and knows such interesting people. Now she has real grandchildren, but I’m very honored to have been one of her first practice grandchildren. She’s one of my very favorite people! ❤️It’s all been a dream, MeeMaw!

Back at work! After such a long time away, it was exciting to start work yesterday on Season 7! It’s our final season and everyone feels this mix of emotions. We are excited to be reunited, proud and grateful of the work we’ve gotten to do, and full of awareness that these sweet times will end. Right now, though, there is work to do!

There was NO ONE like Ms Chita. We always kept in touch and she always made me feel so good. I got to interview her after seeing her in The Visit and I said, “You inspire so many people- who inspires you?” She looked at 7 year old me and said, “you do.” Then she explained that seeing people who loved and respected the same art that she did was deeply inspiring to her. It was a generous answer from a kind person. How typical of her. I miss her. ❤️
Did you have a terrific Thanksgiving? Our round 1 was hosted by @bodycourage – she’s from our Young Sheldon family and now stars as Alberta on Ghosts. She’s the best. If you know me you know how much I love her and Ghosts, so I was thrilled when @imrosemciver walked into the party! Are we going to have a @youngsheldoncbs / @ghostscbs crossover?!?! Happy Thanksgiving!!!
