I mean, come on!!
I got to see this incredible production TWICE in London! Ian McKellen was the best Falstaff I could ever imagine. When I went back to see him after the show, I complimented his cap and he gave it to me! And check out his jacket! Literally 🔥
Spent the afternoon running around the wonderfully chaotic mind of @mrbrainwash – if you are in LA I highly recommend stopping by @mrbrainwashartmuseum !!

Hey y’all! I’m Mary!!!
This is how i spent yesterday (and several days before that!) Thanks to my incredible flight instructor! ✈️
Yesterday was a big day for me! I’ve been taking Tae Kwon Do at @jriarlington since I was 4 years old. I’ve always loved it. I homeschool, so this was always a community for me, where I got the experience of following a curriculum with a variety of teachers. When I was 7 and started acting, I was sad that I might have to give up this training, but the school helped us to figure out how I could continue. We’ve been working remotely since way before it was cool! Earning a blackbelt has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done. The two day exam was so overwhelming, i worried it might defeat me. At my black belt panel exam, I presented an essay called “What Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwon Do Has Done For Me” and the short answer is: so much! I started Tae Kwon Do at such a young age that I really don’t remember life without it. Im so grateful to this school and to all of my instructors. Thank you, Mr Gan, for so many years of instruction. Thank you to Master Pineda, Master Shackleford, Master Rome and Master Hawk for everything- all the years of joy, help, encouragement and inspiration. I love you all and am so grateful to you. Thank you, Grandmaster Rhee, and thank you to your son Master Rhee who continues your teaching. I was so honored when you said that your father would be proud. I recommend TKD to EVERYONE!

It was incredible to get to meet artist @lonnieholleysuniverse – some people call him “The Sandman” and his sculptures and paintings are beautiful. Even better is getting to hear Lonnie tell the stories behind his art. We got to attend a Q&A about his life- so interesting!

I was told to do the architecture cruise on the river in Chicago and so here I am!
My most exciting meeting in DC!!!
Today I’m feeling grateful for the opportunity to speak about issues I feel passionate about. A few years ago I got to join Grandma @janefonda (she’s not really my grandmother but she played that in a movie we did and i adore her) for her #firedrillfriday events. We gathered, learned, marched and some people even got arrested on the steps of the Capitol, all in support of protecting the earth. This week I was invited inside Congress with @thecreativecoalition to discuss the importance of arts funding. I was so happy to see that our representatives- on both sides of the aisle- were genuinely interested to hear our thoughts. People who weren’t in support of the initiatives we were discussing asked great questions and wanted to understand it better. Over and over again, we were encouraged to keep talking about these issues. So now I’ve been inside and outside of the Capitol, and the view is great from both sides! There are many ways to make your thoughts heard, even if you are still too young to vote!
Then I got to see Amy Adams in Glass Menagerie. A memory play that I will always remember! Monsieur Jean Marc directed Amy Adams in Sharp Objects right after he directed Big Little Lies. I went to visit him on the set and met her there, but it was great to see her again, and on stage!
Oh my goodness!!! I keep being done posting pictures and then something makes me say…”just one more…
Has anyone else gotten to see Mark Rylance in @jerusalemplay ? I’ve never seen a performance like the one i saw last night. It was funny, challenging, sad, dark, confusing, painful, inspiring. We queued in the morning for 15 pound seats in the front row and it was absolutely worth it. I will see anything this man is in!
I’ve always wanted to be here. @artinstitutechi
Zoom in. I want to know everything about this building and what shows took place inside! Can’t remember the name of the town but this was on a drive between Savannah, GA and Birmingham, Alabama.
