We all want to live in a better world. That requires all of us to treat each other with empathy and not make assumptions about people’s personal experiences. We’re all feeling pain right now, and I can understand if you are angry, but harassing people who maintain their privacy and wishing death upon their families is no way to make this world better and safer for all of us. #QuietOnSet To ensure there is no confusion, I want to make it clear that my current agents Lauren Green and Sam Hampton of Modern Artists Entertainment are incredible humans who are sincere, genuine, and smart professionals in this industry. They have always listened to my concerns and watched out for my well being. I want to thank Lauren Green for literally having my back since I was 8 years old. The only period of my life that I wasn’t represented by her, was the year and a half I had this shitty experience with this other agent. If it wasn’t for Lauren and Sam, I would never have been on a screen again. @modernartistsagencyla @lauren_so_fabulous @samuelteel As I have been informed my words were being misunderstood around the interwebs, for further clarification please see: https://www.reddit.com/r/QuietOnSetDocumentary/s/oIJijvbwzS & https://www.reddit.com/r/QuietOnSetDocumentary/s/P4C47U3XWF

Loving #SanFrancisco this time of year. This freakin bridge is Waaay bigger than I imagined it would be. #GoldenGateBridge Sending you all lots of love. 🫶
What an amazing adventure it was to make this movie with some of my favorite humans. I’m very excited for y’all to get to see what an incredible job the crew and the cast did to bring this nostalgia to life. So many of us grew up with Zoey in our lives and wanted to be sure we’d love the movie just as much as the fans. There are so many memories I can’t wait to tell y’all about, so many kudos I can’t wait to shower the cast and crew with. I’d hoped to do more of this as we got closer to the premiere and after it launched, so I didn’t accidentally spill secrets by blabbing too early. But unfortunately, the major studios and the unions that represent much of the entertainment industry creatives are at an impasse in negotiating for a better industry playbook, which means SAG/AFTRA is likely to start striking alongside the WGA today. While I have immense respect and admiration for everyone I got to work with on this film, and I so badly want to shout praise from the rooftops – entertainment industry creatives need to stand strong together, support each other, and commit to building a better future for everyone involved. Our time to share stories about the fun adventures we had together will come, my camera roll is bursting at the seams, but for now that will have to wait. This will be my last post about the production until the strike has ended. I do wish the timing of things could be a little different, but this situation would inevitably fall on some group of productions regardless, and I’m okay with being one of them. Our journey, the memories we made along the way, and the incredible production we have to show the world is enough to be appreciative for. Maybe we’ll get to yell praise from the rooftops at a premiere for the next one, or on a different project in the future. But today, I’m humbled and honored to have gotten a chance to be a part of the Zoey 102 journey, and I’m looking forward to an industry playbook all creatives can find security in and be proud of. On July 27th, #Zoey102 hits @ParamountPlus. I hope you all find your favorite Easter eggs, laugh at the nostalgia we all share, and are truly wow’d by the incredible work of our entire crew.

Came to LA to see some of my favorite humans in the world. What great memories. I hope everyone is having a great summer and y’all are enjoying the extra laughs alongside us. There’s so much I wish I could say, so much I wish I could share, but I can’t. One thing I can’t help but tell you all, is Thank You. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for your support. Thank you for going on a journey with us. I hope you’re enjoying the ride so far.
Every time I take a moment to scroll through my albums, I stumble upon more awesome memories from filming Zoey 102 to share with y’all. @erinsanders always had a real film camera to snap pics; here are a few of them that I’m quite fond of. (Last two are bonus content) 1) Erin, @nanhower (our Director), and I on the last day of filming. 2) We’re making COTTON SWAB Flowers for the PCA wedding scene. What a day! #behindthescenes 3) Erin and I in our 2nd wedding attire at #PCA! 4) a row of #filmmaking chairs on set with our character names on them. 5) Bonus pic! This is our director Nancy Hower @nanhower, our genius DP Matthew Rudenberg @rudenberg_dp, and our incredible camera operators John Lehman and Mike Repeta. It was quite a treat to watch Nancy and Matthew work out how they want to capture her vision and then see it all come together, with John and Mike using their magic touch to seemingly float around the scene. There are some incredible shots in the movie that are over a minute long, called “Oners”. They’re not easy to shoot with so many moving parts. The first scene in the movie has one, can you spot it? 6) Bonus Video: My favorite “oner” in the movie. John started off strapped onto a hydraulic lift 2 stories up, his steadicam looking down the barrel of a trumpet. He’s lowered down to ground level where he is unbuckled from the platform and steps off while simultaneously finding me in his frame. Then he tracks me to @chrismasseytmb, then to @audreywhitby, then to @abbywilde, then Bubbe, and finally to @erinsanders and @jamielynnspears – with insane precision. (audio doesn’t match up because we used a different take in the movie. This is video from the camera feed on set and the audio from the film so you can hear it.) This crew absolutely slayed and I can’t thank them enough for making the movie look so damn good. So much more to share! Check out #Zoey102 on @paramountplus. Do you have a favorite oner from a popular movie/show? Lemme know in the comments!

Getting lost is my favorite way to find moments worth holding on to. Stumbled upon this gem of a spot that brought me back to #FernGully. Why no live action fern gully yet? Music: Lesfm

Spent the week in DC and finally got to check out the monuments at Midnight on my last night in town. I gotta admit though, it was incredibly surreal to have the Lincoln Memorial all to myself for a while. I don’t think awe-inspiring is even capable of describing the experience of soaking in the writing on the walls from the minds that shaped this oft challenged social experiment I call my home. I found myself with jaw agape on many occasions admiring the truly massive works of art and engineering. Standing there all alone in that silent chamber, I was reminded how difficult this experiment has been, and how so many of our struggles have stemmed from and provided for the expansion of the definition of Equality for All. We have much growth in our future, and many struggles just like these geezers went through to get us here. But with each step we inch closer to those truths we’ve held self-evident since this party got started over 200 years ago.

Been a fun summer so far. Hope y’all are enjoying it.
