Now that the strike appears to be resolved, there are soooo many memories from our time filming #Zoey102 that I want to share with you all! There are so many people who gave their all to make this adventure amazing; every department brought their A-Game and absolutely knocked it out of the park. While I try to find words to describe how amazing the folks who made this movie are, I want to share with you one example of the good times we had together because of the bonds we got to build along the way. When the movie needed pics of some of us “being friends” for the moments Zoey scrolls through instagram, we, being actual friends, were trusted to just go have fun in the city center and take some pics while we’re at it. So, we did just that. We played around in the arcade, disrupted a pottery barn, found the best reads in the book store, and finished off the evening laughing about the ruckus we caused that day over tea and coffee. That’s where 2-8 in this series of pics comes from. How many of you have had almost identical experiences with your best friends at the mall? Some of these pics we took were used in the movie, can you pick out which ones? While we were lucky enough to have an incredible time making this movie; that fun-loving energy, the opportunity to form such close friendships with the cast and crew, the freedom to laugh and play – this was only possible because each and every single person involved in the making of this movie was extraordinarily professional, unwaveringly inclusive, and came to set each and every day prepared to make this the best possible productions we could. There’s a lot more in the albums to come, and I hope I can find words capable of articulating how incredible the people who made this adventure possible are to me. Every time I take a moment to scroll through my albums, I stumble upon more awesome memories from filming Zoey 102 to share with y’all. @erinsanders always had a real film camera to snap pics; here are a few of them that I’m quite fond of. (Last two are bonus content) 1) Erin, @nanhower (our Director), and I on the last day of filming. 2) We’re making COTTON SWAB Flowers for the PCA wedding scene. What a day! #behindthescenes 3) Erin and I in our 2nd wedding attire at #PCA! 4) a row of #filmmaking chairs on set with our character names on them. 5) Bonus pic! This is our director Nancy Hower @nanhower, our genius DP Matthew Rudenberg @rudenberg_dp, and our incredible camera operators John Lehman and Mike Repeta. It was quite a treat to watch Nancy and Matthew work out how they want to capture her vision and then see it all come together, with John and Mike using their magic touch to seemingly float around the scene. There are some incredible shots in the movie that are over a minute long, called “Oners”. They’re not easy to shoot with so many moving parts. The first scene in the movie has one, can you spot it? 6) Bonus Video: My favorite “oner” in the movie. John started off strapped onto a hydraulic lift 2 stories up, his steadicam looking down the barrel of a trumpet. He’s lowered down to ground level where he is unbuckled from the platform and steps off while simultaneously finding me in his frame. Then he tracks me to @chrismasseytmb, then to @audreywhitby, then to @abbywilde, then Bubbe, and finally to @erinsanders and @jamielynnspears – with insane precision. (audio doesn’t match up because we used a different take in the movie. This is video from the camera feed on set and the audio from the film so you can hear it.) This crew absolutely slayed and I can’t thank them enough for making the movie look so damn good. So much more to share! Check out #Zoey102 on @paramountplus. Do you have a favorite oner from a popular movie/show? Lemme know in the comments!

Some more BTS for you: One of my favorite scenes to film in #Zoey102 ended up being one of the deleted scenes. In this scene, Logan has everyone lined up and he scolds them after their wild night out right before the weeding – in the style of Full Metal Jacket’s Gunnery Sergeant Hartman scene. It was one of my favorites because @nanhower had a really cool vision for the scene and it was inspiring to watch her orchestrate the cast and crew to achieve that vision. Nancy is one of my favorite directors to have ever worked with because she’s not afraid to go for the bold, beautiful, complex shots and she plans it all out so ingeniously to ensure we get all the coverage we’d ever need. It’s one thing to have a bold, complex vision – but it takes true creativity and skill to be able to plan out the entire ballet of operations required to achieve that vision, not to mention simultaneously covering all the angles in case the bold vision doesn’t pan out in post. It was quite a memorable opportunity to work with Nancy, I’ve got lots more stories like this to share with you all. I can’t tell you how much I already miss hearing, “another one for fun”. 🎥⚡️❤️🎬
Another day exploring the wilderness, another dive in the cave. There’s a bigger one to be explored tomorrow. #ExploreFlorida #SevenSistersSprings

Spending another week in the wild. Day one: swimming through caves and chillin with manatees. You can’t really appreciate how truly huge these sea cows are until you’re right up next to one. #ExploreFlorida #Manatees

Hit the longer cave a few times today and it was quite beautiful. Come dive down with me and see for yourself, but be ready for a bit of a squeeze. #ExploreFlorida #SevenSistersSprings

Another day with a wild bunch, probably do it again mañana. The cast of characters today was a Green Heron, some Water Striders, a Blue Land Crab, and the top of a very slow but massive Manatee. Freakin Huge that thing was. Music: Lesfm
Float with me in a historic Phosphate Mine in West-Central Florida. This is Mutual Mine, which operated at the end of the 19th century and closed in 1914. Still visible above the waterline are wooden pylons that held tracks for rail carts to move rocks out of the site. The area around this abandoned mine (known as Bone Valley) still accounts for nearly 60% of the phosphate produced in the US. #MutualMine #ExploreFlorida
