Steve Greene Instagram – Had to wait until April 2nd just to prove this isn’t a joke, but yes we absolutely did have @tulsigabbard on our show, and we couldn’t be more honored by her visit. You’ve heard us express our fond favoritism of her in past episodes when we dare wax political, but this special day brought IRL confirmation that Tulsi is just a down-to-earth super cool person, and you can literally talk to her about anything. And speaking of which, there’s 240 pages of Tulsi Gabbard’s anythings and everythings detailed in her debut book, “For Love of Country” available for pre-order now. If you’re ready to understand how the Dems could lose such a rising star, this book lays it straight out.
Our episodes with Tulsi are worthwhile just to connect with her on a human level, which was nothing like what we expected from such a major political figure. But it was pretty clear Tulsi simply prefers logic over the label, and we’re grateful for the freedom to joke about the dumbest things ever said about her. The sheer surreality of life hit hard having her in the room, but not as hard as it’ll hit in the future when she’s finally president; which we want so badly to be a thing.
But for now, we’ll settle for a good book.
