Hutton 1906 – 1978, best known for his post war work at Coventry Cathedral “Screen of Saints and Angels”, 66 larger-than-life figures that took ten years to create and is well worth a visit, leaves a lasting impression through his art.
This glass panel, once broken in two, now restored, reminds us of the power of restoration and resilience.
Our Conservation studio was lucky enough to be asked to work on this piece after the owner decided to have the old DIY repair dismantled and professionally conserved.
We were able to advise the client on how best to hang and display the panel once conservation had been completed.
