Hi Kids! Sit down, because this is a long story! People always wonder what I’m up to… when will I make another film? I already have! Last week, I told you: I’m having fun, doing great things and you’ll learn about them here. Ta Da! This is one of my many new projects. I’ve been working quietly with a brilliant director, Bruce David Klein and @atlasmediacorp to bring the real story of how my career in films and more began. And I’m not talking about my baby debut at MGM with Mama… that was pure nepotism. You’re gonna see me telling it all in “LIZA: A Truly Terrific Absolutely True Story” — a fabulous documentary featuring footage of me today and from my archives. Our movie is getting a big screen premiere at the incredible #TribecaFestival in June. I’m so excited! I can’t stand it! Stay tuned babies…there’s so much more to share! Thank you for always loving me. I absolutely love each of you.

Delightful dinner last night with sweet friend, Ira De Witt @ira_mira. Sun is shining on my @halston sequins and my Elsa Peretti gold bone cuffs from @tiffanyandco so… sunglasses are essential! We laughed ourselves silly. Our sides still hurt. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was exquisite. I’m not about to tell you where we are… because when girls just want to have fun, we need our hideaways!
When I was in my teens, Tony’s records were my favorites and I took them with me wherever I traveled. We had fun singing together later, but it always seemed to be in his key. My favorite time was when I sang for him at the Friar’s Club Tribute in 1994, and I got him up to sing ‘Maybe This Time’ as a duet, but this time it was in my key. He still managed to hit those high notes! I’ll miss you Tony.

Hi Kids! I’m in the middle of a “top secret” project that is so much fun! As I twirl through the pages of family history am finding pics I haven’t seen in years! Everybody knows there isn’t a minute in my life that I don’t love dancing. You’ll see right here, it started early… in fact Mama always said I was quite a kicker, even in her belly. Took my dance class today and loved it. I love you.
Although my primary home is California, New York will always shine in my heart. If you visit me here, you know I try to keep things happy. There’s enough chaos and sadness in the world. Today is different. The terrorism of 9/11 broke my heart into so many pieces, I’m still looking for some of them. 10 days after the loss of over 3,000 people at the World Trade Center Towers, The Mets were deciding should they play a crucial game. I was asked to sing my song… “New York, New York”, the city’s worldwide anthem. I didn’t know if I could do it so, I wanted heroic first responders to join me as a chorus line. Those brave souls had suffered so much. All I had to do was look at them, play for them, the team, the audience… which stopped me from thinking about my own feelings. The great guys hugged me and we cried… after! So in the spirit of saying, whatever hurts…however challenged…damn it. We must push forward. There is no other way. So kids, I love you all and here is that experience… 9/21/2001.
