Maggie Q Instagram – Sorry for the bad audio, but I’m in the snack aisle today! If you absolutely need the crunch of salty snacks like I do sometimes, look for ingredients you know   whole food sources. Chips fried in avocado oil or coconut oil are still a little fatty, but in moderation they’re a better option than palm oil, partially hydrogenated oils, or cottonseed oils.

I know different research is coming out all the time on different ingredients, but you can’t go wrong with whole food ingredients, raw ingredients, and things you know are food just maybe packaged up cute at the store. All you can do is try to make an informed decision. If all that reading is tiring you out, you can always go to the produce section, no labels!

Mother Nature gave me bees. The bees gave me honey. I’m turning that honey into help for homeless animals!

I jarred the honey I was so lucky to receive from the bees in my yard, and I’m selling it with all proceeds going to the Animal Rescue Mission! 

The @theanimalrescuemission rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes animals in need. I’m on their board, so I can assure you personally that they do amazing work!
