Another turn around the sun. 57 is looking ok. @dominiquecrenn and my friends and family made it really special. I’m so grateful to be loved. I also made some intentions today about what I want the next year to be like. We think about these things more often as we age I suppose. What do I want to create this year that I didn’t create in the first half? I learned from @kristinhannahauthor that you have more brain space and experience in the second half of life so you can do even more, create more and appreciate the small moments more. That’s what I’m going for this year. 😊

I love flea markets especially in Paris! On Sundays they pop up all over the city. This one is in Place Maubert in the 5th arrondisement. On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays it is alive with a farmers market selling the freshest vegetables, fruits, meats and cheeses (thank you Manu:). But on Sunday I love to stroll there and find some treasures. On this trip I found 2 1940’s vintage French day dresses. In my PAUSE I learned to PAUSE at a market or to watch a performer on the street. To take in the sights and sounds of the city. In the first half of my life I was rushing too much to notice. Slowing down is good. And finding a great deal is even better! 😍
Happy International Women’s Day. We are stronger together than we are alone. I was honored to witness this group in Paris last night celebrating their country for including abortion rights in their constitution. Go France! And to those who are facing persecution and punishment for simply being a woman – there is a whole gang of us beside you helping to fight for your divine rights. Never give up hope. 🙏
