Not just of your strength, commitment, dedication and focus.. but also honesty!! Because who else knows except for you as to what u missed and whether it should be overlooked without the overwhelming reality of a RESET!!! I persisted and I persevered!!! Despite hectic schedules.. walked even at 2 am.. and woke up at 5 am... if I had to. And then.... day 68!!! GULP!!! I woke up and burst into tears. In sheer exhaustion had not done my daily log... and realised I had FORGOTTEN TO READ 10 pages. !!! Everyone told me to carry on.. that I should read 20 pages the next day.. etc etx. And it did. But it didn't feel right. A challenge is a challenge. I failed. And either I reset or rest till I can do it again. I won in so many ways... And this challenge has done SO MUCH FOR ME!!! Gratitude. when was the last time you laughed so hard that your stomach hurt?

when was the last time you did something completely spontaneously?

when was the last time you felt damn bloody good about yourself?

when was the last time you celebrated being alive? and i’m not talking about the tokenism of a birthday party!

do you feel free to be you? 
or Do you feel trapped in a rut? or under pressure of conformity?

who’s life is it? and who is carrying the happiness or pain to the grave?

Are you the one who is trying to doing things “at the cost of yourself and your happiness”? 
perhaps believing it will bring you happiness to see others happy?

It’s such a short journey from birth to death. and after 40, you have more years behind you than ahead of you.
Who are you trying to please and why?
who are you competing with, and why?
what are you trying to control, and why?
Do you even realise the amount of wasted time and energy and breaths you invest into what really doesn’t matter in the end?

Take a deep breath, let the thoughts and stress settle, and ask yourself, if you could do what you truly wanted to do…. what would you do?

And then …. go out there and do it!!!

And why do we constantly feel the pressure to “live up” to wanting to achieve it? A perfect body, a perfect job, a perfect partner, a perfect relationship, a perfect life….. !!

We focus so hard on creating & expecting perfection, that we don’t allow ourselves to love ourselves or others if we or they are “imperfect”

The definition of a perfectionist as per oxford dictionary is “a person who always does things as well as he/she possibly can” and here is the problem, it also says “and expects others to do the same”.

is it healthy to be driven by fear of criticism, to procrastinate under the weight of pressure to deliver perfection, or to be driven by fear of failure rather than desire for success?

Do you equate success with happiness or find inspiration overshadowed by anxiety as you strive for it ?

There’s as much beauty in imperfection as there is in perfection. Is anything perfect? what is perfect actually? Why do we need to airbrush faces on the covers of magazine when the models are already “perfect”?

even diamonds which are subjected to the greatest pressure, aren’t perfect. What on earth is the pressure you self-inflict all about?

If you’ve set a destination in your head about the “perfect” whatever you want to manifest, remember, it’s always about the journey, not the destination, because how long will that state of “perfection” remain? life changes, people change, destinations change, needs change, mindsets change.

a “perfect” partner for you may not be so “perfect” after a while as your need of what is perfect for you has changed based on your circumstances.

embrace life, people and circumstances with all it’s colours and “so called imperfections”

there’s no need to be “perfect”, there is just a need to be “you”, and allow others to be themselves and to love them and what you do, to your fullest. 

Revel in being the most perfect imperfect person!
