Important questions for a Sunday : does this mug make my head look big ☕️🤔🤔🤔 #happysunday all 💛May your Monday not be too much of biash 😉
Gasp 😲 …Realised (due to a delayed start to the new year ..thank you emergency surgery 🙄) * That the Carpani nostrils had not made an appearance to ring in the new year . Unimportant. Definitely not needed nor asked for….but tradition reigns . * The dodgy camera angles continue. Love to you and #2024 from the Carpani Nostrils 🤓🤓🤓❤️❤️❤️ * #contentyoudontneed
After some time away from social media (and a couple of surgeries later !) 😂 Won’t lie, it was rough but I was surrounded by my nearest and dearest (you know who you are ❤️!!!) Buuuut am Happy to report that I am back, healthy and fully recovered ✊🎉 * Back to normal life and work ☺️ with thanks to all those who looked after me ❤️ AND the amazing @tabasomasadi who styled my Carpani head into fabulousness 💛💛💛 * Am sure all my Gals can relate , self care and looking like yourself again is for YOU! 🥰 it’s taken years but I’m only out to impress myself , not anyone else 😉 * I say look good, feel good, work hard (and with some HUGE help from the wonderful stylist @tabasomasadi …❤️do check out her page , not only is she Uber talented, she is so kind , so sweet❤️!) and and helped bring me back to looking and feeling like myself again . * Normal nerdy Carpani programming has returned 🤓🤓🤓📺📺📺 Lots of love 😘Rach * * * #backatit @tabasomasadi ❤️
So apparently I’m not afraid of heights anymore😎. An early cheers to new years 🍷. Thankyou 2023- you were a total goat rodeo 🫠🫠🫠 * We are very ready for 2024 ❤️ * I understand it can be hard to raise a glass for many …as this year was tough . This year almost broke my heart . From those here suffering from the cost of living crisis here to the violence and displacement of so many overseas…..it was , and is,hard to navigate through all the tragedy that is coming at us . ❤️….yet we also saw light emerging from this darkness…people coming together despite their differences for peace , assisting aid agencies, giving all they have to help * I hope you made it through this year ok ❤️ 😊 * Personally I took a couple of breaks from social media. Took some time to experience life as it comes , no record , no lighting, no likes . Just life . * I also took care of some things that I had put off for years🤓 After a life with horrific shortsightedness , wearing glasses from the age of 5, I bit the bullet and got “eyeball” surgery (phakic intraocular lense replacement ) It’s so very weird to say ….but I can SEE 🥳🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌!!! No more bumping into things, no more terror that I will lose a lense on set or on a plane and have to fake my eyesight, no more !!🙌🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️ * We will , unfortunately have to retire ‘Blind Carpo’ and all the other sight related nicknames 🤓 * So take it from someone who has been stuck with fuzzy , darkened vision and is seeing the world for the first time …my god its beautiful. ❤️ (and apparently I LOVE heights 😂…who knew ?!) * I hope we can all see clearer next year . I hope 2024 is better for so many . I hope you are surrounded with love and loved ones this NYE. * More love, more hugs, more food , more laughs❤️❤️❤️ Sending Carpo love from me to you 😘😘😘 Xxx #happynewyear
Everyone done their Christmas shopping yet ….because I haven’t .😅🎁 #christmasstress
Happy 48th Wedding Anniversary ( Felice Anniversario🇮🇹!!) to my gorgeous Mama and Dad ❤️❤️❤️ You two are hilariously adorable, complete opposites, and your marriage is still so gorgeous to behold 🥰 * You guys make us laugh -with your arguments over Mum winning every quiz , or how many points Dad still deducts for “phoning a friend“, 😆 Let’s not forget the hilarity of mums face when Dad dares to cook his best and only dish ….the “Tony Frittata 😂” , and then there’s the terror on Dads’ face when she changes your “Air Crash investigations” over to a British murder mystery night after night …. * You guys still crack me up , and laugh at each other . We see your empathy and compassion for all people, especially children, everywhere , how you give back , constantly & quietly, especially in housing to those in need . * Watching you guys together for 48 years is a constant reminder that it is better to be kind than to be right 🥰 ❤️ (and just your all round gorgeousness …see pic 📸👆) are just some of the reasons you are looking at the cutest couple (yep still after 48 years 🎉🥰!!) , whom I , Nicky , Tara , Georgie & the bubbas love so very much ! ❤️ Happy Anniversary cuties !! 😘 📸 Full photo credit @georgiamaie_music 🙌 * * * * * #happyanniversary #feliceanniversario 🇮🇹 48thweddinganniversary❤️ #cutestparentsever @georgiamaie_music @nick_carpani @tara.carpani
As promised …#bts from Mothers Day …🤪 I may look like my mum ….but Dad and I are full Carpo’s who clearly can’t function without my mother😅😂…… * Here is 10% of the classic “Carpani panic” as I prepped & cooked from scratch …and had a Carpo attack over my dads “decorating “ 🤦🏼♀️😅 * As you can see ….he came out fine….I need a year to recover . 🫠🫠🫠 #whycanteveryonejustdowhatiwant ? 🧐(exactly how I want it ?) * (Love you Dada, thankyou for your help ….and “decorating tips” …we are too alike for our own good 😎😉) 😘😘😘
City slickers . 😎 Country Weekend getaway at my Uncles Vineyard 🍇🍷🌳❤️ #orangensw * Christmas Parrrrrty tonight ….🥂🎄…heard rumours Santa may be making a special appearance. 🎁 Stay tuned . xxxx❤️❤️❤️

I’m late posting about #IWD 💔I was stuck , unable to post ,unlike previous years,an enthusiastic participant celebrating so many AMAZING women💛,applauding those doing INCREDIBLE work to accelerate progress for women 🙌 ,in awe of the shoulders we stand on (please know being unable to know how to “celebrate “ and eat a cupcake , I do not diminish what incredible women are doing – in fact I am in awe more than ever because you continue on in the face of horrifying statistics 💔) We can no longer deny that we have an epidemic of violence against women , right here, in Australia. * And for the first time my rage eclipsed my sadness. 18 WOMEN HAVE BEEN KILLED THIS YEAR, at the hands of men . Read that again . 💔 Women are NOT SAFE. A woman was murdered on the eve of #IWD .Another today. We exist in an epidemic of violence against women. Most men are HORRIFIED by it,but here we are again, watching the violent entitlement of men over women’s bodies, their lives,& the skewered, sympathetic media coverage of the perpetrators. * And no, this is not against men, it’s about ALL of us.It is a brutal reminder that the lived experience for women is DIFFERENT.When it comes to safety, women are at a disadvantage, & we all know it is disproportionately worse for women of colour, disabled women, young women ,elderly women .But we just have not normalised the conversation to the degree that it has made our country any safer for women💔 * I think most women would welcome questions from men about what it’s like to walk at night / run with one headphone in / walk to our car clutching our keys/wonder how safe our wardrobe choice is for the day-everyday/go on a date / be in any parking garage /politely smile through an unsafe situation/ go to a bar alone or ANYWHERE ever ….she will enthusiastically welcome a man who embraces an opportunity to listen, learn and grow, knowing he will walk away feeling more equipped to call out behaviour & talk with mates that encourages disrespect and the continuation of women feeling unsafe. Men & Women must collectively invest in women to accelerate progress-but we must FIRST know we are SAFE.💛image credit • @womensagenda #endviolenceagainstwomen
