All alone exploring the volcano on Corvo Island in the Azores of Portugal in the Atlantic. Took a 7 minute flight to the island and paid a taxi to drive me as high as the road went. Hiked alone in the Azores for a few days and started talking to myself
Hiking to the summit of Pedra da Gávea in Brazil on a nice hot sunny Spring day. Didn’t realize there was so much to hike in the country let alone right in Rio De Janeiro. 5 miles with 3,000ft elevation gain in about 3 hours round trip solo.

@nikerunning sent me some Kiger 9 trail runners to help stay active this winter and between hiking trips, I like to take Sasha for runs nearby in Prospect Park, one of my favorite running spots in Brooklyn. The shoes feel comfy and have great traction in snow and mud and Nike trail has apparel to keep you warm as well. The Kiger is designed for moving fast on any trail, at home or around the world. It’s so light it feels like it disappears on my feet. Glad to add it to my kit for this year of hiking. #teamnike
