Gratiela Brancusi Instagram – This whole year I will hold in my heart forever.
I was taught that when the universe gives you something, it will turn around before the door closes all the way and slap you with the bill. This year, I came closer than ever to the door slam refashioned into a familiar soothing sound. All the many human shaped gifts left on my counter. And the old ones rising. I’ve never felt this rich. I have endless stories oozing of generosity and kindness that I can only hope will rub off on me. I’ll trade you one for a glass of old fashioned one day.
There’s a sticky trail of gratitude and marvel I leave behind all over 2021. I hope you step in it. I hope it’s contagious. We’ll never be able to reclaim this word, will we?
And I hope you all get to walk into the new year holding on to one of the Christinas of the world.
