Michelle Clunie Instagram – Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! This is a pic from my Mom’s 85th birthday. We had just lost my father and my Mom had spent 35 grueling days sleeping in a hospital, a rest home, hospice, back to the hospital and then finally back at hospice. What a warrior. Look at her. Then she flew down to be with me and Dashiell because I was completely devastated. What a lady. She is now 91 and still tough as nails. I adore her more than words can say. She had nearly 70 years with my father. I remember growing up my parents had a running joke, they used the same Valentine’s Day card for about thirty or so years. I think it started when my Mom crossed off my Dad’s name from a previous card and signed it ‘from your loving wife’ and gave it to him one Valentine’s Day morning, as a joke. He then gave it back to her in the afternoon. They laughed and were delighted with themselves and did this for about thirty years. Anyway, find someone you can pass the same card back and forth with for thirty years and laugh hysterically about it.
