Michelle Clunie Instagram – In the last year Dashiell is suddenly washing the car and picking up the mail and taking out the trash, bringing in the groceries- all of which I deeply appreciate.. but nothing compares to the moments where he turns to me and says, “ You’re the best Mom ever”. He says this to me daily. He has done this for a long time, I think it started during the pandemic. I can’t tell you what that is like but it floors me every time and I never take it for granted. I try to earn that every single day. Anyway, there are few things that pierce my heart but Dashiell manages to do that every single day. The truth is he is the best son ever. The best. I am beyond lucky to walk this path with him. His mind alone fascinates me but that pales in comparison to his kindness. Happy 9th birthday my beautiful boy!!!
