Jennifer Gimenez Instagram - Woke up and realized 12 years ago today I walked out of the Illinois Department of corrections. I was 13 1/2 months Clean and Sober and prepared to retire #R68915💯 I set up some family support groups. I set up a nonprofit to help the indigent, on my 21 month sobriety date My beautiful son passed away from this disease. I stumbled into working into the Treatment space and I never looked back. I wrote a book I’ve had a documentary in my life on A&E. I’ve been a guest of the state of the union address. I’ve been on damn near every new show you could think of and I could give a shit about any of that. I give a shit about using platforms to carry a message to let people know the disease of addiction and mental health is alive and well. Help is available that’s what we do. That’s what my life has morphed into. My life has changed dramatically in the 12 years. I am married to @jennifergimenez who is my best friend, my rock, my world, the bonus, mommy to our beautiful daughter, Mackenzie, who is living with us full-time. My life is full. My life is whole. Max Tanner and Abbie are rocking and rolling with life. My kids are healthy and happy. They have a sober father. My wife has a sober husband. My family can rely on me today. My friends in business partners can rely on me. The families I assist can rely on me. How did this happen cause I live in the solution called RECOVERY. I have a tribe of the most amazing men, and I thank each and every one of you you know who you are. Don’t believe people can’t change don’t believe cause someone’s walking out of prison. They’re gonna go back to the way they used to live because that’s not the case. If you got a heartbeat, you gotta hope stop being a judgment prick and if you want to get to know somebody pick up the phone and talk to them. We need more communication. We need less hate. We need more love we need more sobriety. I love my life because I fucking say so. You want what I have you do what I do. If I can do it, so can you💯💯💯

Jennifer Gimenez Instagram - It is with great sadness that I make this post about our dear friend Rob Hannley’s passing. Rob passed away last night peacefully with his family all around him after his fight with cancer. Rob was an extraordinary human. First and foremost he was one of my best friends and confidants. I 1st met Rob when he put me on the cover of @recoverytodaymag and we became fast and furious friends. I remember when he called me one time and said he loved what I post about and thought I would make a great addition to the magazine by writing for it, he said you be you, #JenniferGimenezTheRealReal, he gave me the freedom I needed to be me and a huge platform to use my voice. At the same time 6 yrs ago as we were building our friendship he started one with my husband @timryandopeman before he and I had met. The one thing with Rob was when either Tim or I would get a call from him or visa versa we knew it was a minimum 1 hr or more conversation. We will miss those calls and cherish all the calls, text, emails, DMs and video chats with him. He did an absurd amount of work for the Recovery Community because he cared that much about people. Rob was a great friend, listener, kind , understanding and loved helping people. He loved his Magazine and put so much effort into his passion, but his first love was his family, his wife Kristine, his 2 children Hayden andGabriella and his brother @ghannley. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hannley family and our #RecoveryTodayMagazine family. Jennifer Gimenez Instagram - Today I had the opportunity to go to the prison, where my husband @timryandopeman started his journey in recovery and speak to the inmates at Sheridan Correctional Center. This place saved my husband’s life. For the last 5 1/2 years I’ve heard every single day different stories and moments of this magical place that has transformed Tim’s life. We were able to bring our brother’s in recovery @jaymohr37 and @dangarcia40071982 which made it extra special. We spoke to about 1000 inmates for over 2 days. Myself , Jay and Cowboy Dan each brought our own perspective and journeys. I gotta say, though when Tim got up there and he spoke last, he commanded the respect of the inmates because he was once a former inmate & he turned his life around . It is always been a priority for Tim when Sheridan calls he responds. Honestly, I’m still flying high from the connection and purpose we all had together as a union, the inmates and us. What’s so beautiful is that each one of us walked in different paths in life , but all our emotions were the same, pain is pain, happy as happy, sad sad we were all able to connect on a spiritual level. And remember a lot of damn good people unfortunately make bad choices and decisions and end up in a place like Sheridan correctional center. Please don’t be the person that judges a book by its cover because a lot of people judged Tim and he’s out there changing up the motherfucking game. We would also like to thank the staff @westcarefoundation because without your organization, none of this would be possible. Westcare is the therapeutic community that is run within the Sheridan correctional center and numerous prisons nationwide. Annnnnd to @huckfinnbarbell thank you for keeping us laughing our asses off!🤪

What’s so beautiful is that each one of us walked in different paths in life , but all our emotions were the same, pain is pain, happy as happy, sad sad we were all able to connect on a spiritual level. And remember a lot of damn good people unfortunately make bad choices and decisions and end up in a place like Sheridan correctional center. Jennifer Gimenez Instagram - Today I had the opportunity to go to the prison, where my husband @timryandopeman started his journey in recovery and speak to the inmates at Sheridan Correctional Center. This place saved my husband’s life. For the last 5 1/2 years I’ve heard every single day different stories and moments of this magical place that has transformed Tim’s life. We were able to bring our brother’s in recovery @jaymohr37 and @dangarcia40071982 which made it extra special. We spoke to about 1000 inmates for over 2 days. Myself , Jay and Cowboy Dan each brought our own perspective and journeys. I gotta say, though when Tim got up there and he spoke last, he commanded the respect of the inmates because he was once a former inmate & he turned his life around . I was 13 1/2 months Clean and Sober and prepared to retire #R68915💯 I set up some family support groups. I set up a nonprofit to help the indigent, on my 21 month sobriety date My beautiful son passed away from this disease. I stumbled into working into the Treatment space and I never looked back. I wrote a book I’ve had a documentary in my life on A&E. I’ve been a guest of the state of the union address. I’ve been on damn near every new show you could think of and I could give a shit about any of that. I give a shit about using platforms to carry a message to let people know the disease of addiction and mental health is alive and well. Help is available that’s what we do. That’s what my life has morphed into. My life has changed dramatically in the 12 years. I am married to @jennifergimenez who is my best friend, my rock, my world, the bonus, mommy to our beautiful daughter, Mackenzie, who is living with us full-time. My life is full. My life is whole. Max Tanner and Abbie are rocking and rolling with life. My kids are healthy and happy. They have a sober father. My wife has a sober husband. My family can rely on me today. My friends in business partners can rely on me. The families I assist can rely on me. How did this happen cause I live in the solution called RECOVERY. I have a tribe of the most amazing men, and I thank each and every one of you you know who you are. Don’t believe people can’t change don’t believe cause someone’s walking out of prison. They’re gonna go back to the way they used to live because that’s not the case. If you got a heartbeat, you gotta hope stop being a judgment prick and if you want to get to know somebody pick up the phone and talk to them. We need more communication. We need less hate. We need more love we need more sobriety. I love my life because I fucking say so. You want what I have you do what I do. If I can do it, so can you💯💯💯

Rob passed away last night peacefully with his family all around him after his fight with cancer. Rob was an extraordinary human. First and foremost he was one of my best friends and confidants. I 1st met Rob when he put me on the cover of @recoverytodaymag and we became fast and furious friends. I remember when he called me one time and said he loved what I post about and thought I would make a great addition to the magazine by writing for it, he said you be you, #JenniferGimenezTheRealReal, he gave me the freedom I needed to be me and a huge platform to use my voice. At the same time 6 yrs ago as we were building our friendship he started one with my husband @timryandopeman before he and I had met. The one thing with Rob was when either Tim or I would get a call from him or visa versa we knew it was a minimum 1 hr or more conversation. We will miss those calls and cherish all the calls, text, emails, DMs and video chats with him. He did an absurd amount of work for the Recovery Community because he cared that much about people. Rob was a great friend, listener, kind , understanding and loved helping people. He loved his Magazine and put so much effort into his passion, but his first love was his family, his wife Kristine, his 2 children Hayden andGabriella and his brother @ghannley. Caption : It is with great sadness that I make this post about our dear friend Rob Hannley’s passing. Rob passed away last night peacefully with his family all around him after his fight with cancer. Rob was an extraordinary human. First and foremost he was one of my best friends and confidants. I 1st met Rob when he put me on the cover of @recoverytodaymag and we became fast and furious friends. I remember when he called me one time and said he loved what I post about and thought I would make a great addition to the magazine by writing for it, he said you be you, #JenniferGimenezTheRealReal, he gave me the freedom I needed to be me and a huge platform to use my voice. At the same time 6 yrs ago as we were building our friendship he started one with my husband @timryandopeman before he and I had met. The one thing with Rob was when either Tim or I would get a call from him or visa versa we knew it was a minimum 1 hr or more conversation. We will miss those calls and cherish all the calls, text, emails, DMs and video chats with him. He did an absurd amount of work for the Recovery Community because he cared that much about people. Rob was a great friend, listener, kind , understanding and loved helping people. He loved his Magazine and put so much effort into his passion, but his first love was his family, his wife Kristine, his 2 children Hayden andGabriella and his brother @ghannley. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hannley family and our #RecoveryTodayMagazine family.
