What a Killer experience last night‼️‼️ @jennifergimenez @timryandopeman flew into Chicago a day early to meet up with @travismills @nickgross with the band @girlfriends 🤘 Thank you both for your hospitality to watch you guys perform and be in your element was a once in a lifetime experience but then to be able to hang on the tour bus “Clifford” go backstage then you also jam with @simpleplan and @avrillavigne 🎉🎊‼️ This is what life is all about these are the gifts called RECOVERY. Today I had the opportunity to go to the prison, where my husband @timryandopeman started his journey in recovery and speak to the inmates at Sheridan Correctional Center. This place saved my husband’s life. For the last 5 1/2 years I’ve heard every single day different stories and moments of this magical place that has transformed Tim’s life. We were able to bring our brother’s in recovery @jaymohr37 and @dangarcia40071982 which made it extra special. We spoke to about 1000 inmates for over 2 days. Myself , Jay and Cowboy Dan each brought our own perspective and journeys. I gotta say, though when Tim got up there and he spoke last, he commanded the respect of the inmates because he was once a former inmate & he turned his life around . It is always been a priority for Tim when Sheridan calls he responds. Honestly, I’m still flying high from the connection and purpose we all had together as a union, the inmates and us.
