This year, Good Friday and Easter take place amid a troubled and conflicted world, with many people living under grievous and inhumane conditions.
We must not lose hope in face of suffering and tragedy. Let us draw strength from the message of this season and work together for a more peaceful world, while cherishing the precious societal harmony that we enjoy in Singapore.
