Lee Hsien Loong Instagram – Happy to welcome Communist Party of China International Department Minister Liu Jianchao to the Istana this afternoon. Since PRC President Xi Jinping and I upgraded bilateral ties to an “All-Round High-Quality Future-Oriented Partnership” in April 2023, Singapore-China relations have continued to strengthen and broaden.
Minister Liu and I affirmed our substantial progress in bilateral relations. He also updated me on China’s foreign and domestic priorities. I look forward to China’s continued engagement with Singapore and @asean, and am confident that our deepening collaboration will benefit both our countries and the region. – LHL
