SecCom officers have worked with me for many years. They ensure the safety of key office holders, such as the President and Cabinet Ministers, as well as visiting foreign dignitaries. From time to time, we read about physical attacks on other world leaders. Singapore is a safe country, but we should never take our safety and security for granted.
The new facilities will enhance our officers’ training, equipping them with the skills to respond to any incidents swiftly and effectively.
