This 27-year-old patient is one-year post-op from her revision rhinoplasty with rib cartilage grafting. This patient came to us because she was bothered by her low dorsum and droopy tip that she was left with from her previous surgery. I performed a revision rhinoplasty for my patient, Gail, which was not only cosmetic, but functional! For the functional aspect of her surgery, the goal was to fix her columella that was incredibly thick due to her scar tissue and soft tissue as well as correcting her prolapsed external valve. In the results, you can actually see her airway, where in the before, you primarily only see tissue. This 37-year-old female patient came to me for a primary rhinoplasty and septoplasty. The main goal of the rhinoplasty was to reduce her dorsal hump to fix her profile, while the septoplasty was to improve her breathing by fixing her septum. This wonderful 54-year-old patient of mine is only four months post-op from her revision rhinoplasty!
