My father, Rafael, is my hero. His story is one of perseverance, faith, and determination. During the Cuban Revolution, he was imprisoned, tortured, and beaten by Batista and his thugs. He fled from Cuba, and came to America, with nothing to his name except for the $100 sewn into his underwear. He didn’t speak English, and he worked as a dishwasher making 50 cents an hour. He paid his way through school, eventually graduating from the University of Texas. He became a successful entrepreneur and later a pastor. My dad truly is a shining example of the American dream. To every dad across Texas and America — happy Father’s Day!

President Trump’s trial is not about the law or criminal justice. It’s about politics for the Democrats. I can imagine Joe Biden’s press conference from the White House where he gloats about convicting Donald Trump. This is the most brazen case of election interference in American history.
Democrats don’t have the courage to call out the corruption in our justice system after Trump’s guilty verdict. They don’t care about the rule of law or the Constitution. They only care about calling him a felon over and over again before Election Day.
Praise God. Without the bravery of the IDF, these four hostages may have never been saved. America’s policy should be very simple. Support Israel as it frees every last hostage and utterly destroys Hamas.
God bless Texas.
Biden’s nominee to be the judge for the Southern District of New York, Sarah Netburn, is an absolute radical. She puts ideology before safety when it comes to housing biological men in women’s prisons. When the Bureau of Prisons WARNED against housing a convicted serial child rapist in a women’s prison, Netburn disregarded the recommendation and housed the rapist with women anyway. This was a disgusting, purely politically ideological decision made by the judge.
Joe Biden has had 3 years to secure the border. Why is he just now signing an executive order to fix it? It’s a political play before the election to get the corporate media to gush and say “things aren’t so bad.”
35 years ago, on June 4, 1989, the Chinese Communist Party sent thousands of soldiers into Tiananmen Square to attack protesters who had peacefully assembled to advocate for freedom in China. The protestors courageously refused to disperse and the CCP’s army opened fire, murdering hundreds. Despite the ongoing and unremitting efforts of the CCP to erase this event from history, freedom-loving Chinese people at home and democracies abroad continue to mark and commemorate June 4. The world will never forget the image of a solitary man standing in defiance of a line of tanks. That image continues to stir hearts. Today, we remember those murdered in Tiananmen Square and continue to advocate for freedom with the brave Chinese dissidents who continue to stand up, often alone. I am proud to stand with them.
Almost every non-consensual explicit deepfake targets a woman or young girl — and this problem is only getting worse. This is a horrific violation of privacy and is deeply hurtful to the victim. The TAKE IT DOWN Act will require companies to remove these images and federally charge the person who publishes the deepfakes.
The number of people on planet Earth who were surprised when the DOJ announced that they wouldn’t prosecute Merrick Garland’s contempt charges are ZERO. This is the most partisan DOJ in history. They only care about locking up their political opponents and protecting their own.
Jocelyn Nungaray was a beautiful and sweet 12-year-old girl from my hometown of Houston. She was brutally murdered by two illegal aliens who should’ve NEVER been here in the first place. Her mother Alexis and her grandfather Kelvin are incredibly strong and courageous for speaking out for Jocelyn. Houston, Texas, and America are grieving the loss of this innocent young life.
Once in a lifetime opportunity meeting David Byrne of the Talking Heads. We had a great conversation about royalties for musicians.
Jocelyn Nungaray was a 12-year-old girl who was brutally murdered by two illegal aliens who should have NEVER been in our country in the first place. President Biden has put politics over keeping Texans safe.
Today is Juneteenth — an important date in Texas and American history. 159 years ago, Major General Gordon Granger announced in Galveston, Texas, that the Civil War was over, and that enslaved people were now finally free. In 1872, in my hometown of Houston, four men bought land to host Juneteenth celebrations — Emancipation Park, the oldest public park in Texas. And in 1980, Texas became the first state to recognize Juneteenth. Today reminds us of our country’s promise to protect the unalienable rights given by God — life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. May God Bless Texas and the United States.
This Memorial Day, we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice defending the United States and the freedoms we hold so dear. Every American has a solemn duty to carry on their memory and legacy, and to uphold the values they gave their lives to protect. May God bless the men and women in our Armed Forces, the families of those who have lost loved ones in the service of our nation, and the incredible United States of America for which they fought.
It was an honor to attend the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of D-Day. I had the privilege of meeting Vernon Mitchell of Ft. Worth — his story is one of patriotism, honor, and bravery. He served our country in the 2nd Infantry Division — and had a distinguished military career. He earned numerous medals for his service, including France’s prestigious Legion of Honor. He landed on Omaha Beach on June 7th and continued to fight after most of the beach was cleared. Mitchell was injured when he was hit with a German artillery shell — and lost two of his best friends in the same explosion. He recovered and eventually fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Vernon Mitchell is an embodiment of the Greatest Generation. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
This Memorial Day, let us be sobered by the ultimate cost of liberty, and heartened that so many throughout our nation’s history have held that liberty as something worth dying for. God bless the families of our fallen servicemen and women, and may God continue to bless the United States of America.
I’m headed to Normandy, France, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day. We are headed there to remember the incredible courage of those boys on the beach, which changed the course of history. I’ll also be with a number of surviving WWII veterans. Their heroism saved America and the free world. This is an incredible privilege to join them and say thank you.
Border Patrol is under an explicit directive to be on the look-out for terrorists. They recently caught 8 ISIS-K terrorists who were vetted, and ultimately released into the country. Thankfully, these men were just arrested in 3 cities across the country for planning a terrorist attack. The terrorists should have been immediately put on a plane and flown back to Tajikistan. We are facing the greatest threat for an attack since 9/11.
37 years ago, Ronald Reagan spoke the iconic words, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” The State Department had told him not to say it, claiming it would never happen, but he did it anyway. Within 3 years, the wall did come down. It wasn’t tanks and missiles that took out the Berlin Wall. Exposing communism tore down the wall.
