I LOVE Disneyland. It is my happy place and has been since I was a kid. I try and go often to remember that you have to make time for people and things you truly enjoy. What I enjoy the most is time with this person. I can honestly say that she was someone I dreamed of my whole life. She makes every single day a day full of joy. I never realized how much who you spend your time with impacts your life but now, well obviously it’s obvious. Who you choose to spend your time and ultimately your life with is beyond critical so be very selfish with who you choose. If you have never evaluated this in your life I feel strongly you should think about it. I personally am going to reduce the time I spend in some areas so I can increase the time spent with the incredible people in my life. Oh and another life lesson in the last pic! Take it from me never to let a barber “take out the gray”. His solution: dye my hair (and eyebrows) black. I hope everyone has a great weekend. I really appreciate everyone now reading this as the vast majority of people on here are good supportive people which makes me honestly proud. Thank you for being you.

I haven’t been on here much for the last 6ish months due to some mental health issues that I will discuss later at a time when I can go in depth. The combined strikes have been brutal for many and personally is has affected my life greatly. That being said a lot of lessons have come from it. I felt this was a good picture to represent how I feel now as this was me doing a photo shoot for the MoH video game. All this kit was quite heavy and very hot so I’m just taking a breather which is pretty much what I am doing in my life now. The one thing I do know about myself is that I will come back stronger and smarter. It’s a cycle that repeats itself and one that apparently is in itself the mechanism for change. It hurts and is uncomfortable but that is the only way we grow. UPDATE: I am ok! My intent was to make a post that was ultimately positive but now after 3 calls from friends asking if I am on the edge it’s obvious to me that this came across differently than intended. I am fine now but no 3 months ago I was not and maybe now that I think about it that’s the message. I’m only posting now that I don’t need help and I didn’t when I did. We should fix that and I should have put something out then when I probably could have used some motivation.
Happy Veterans Day to so many. I really struggled with posting anything today as there is no way to post a pic of myself in uniform without people saying nice things to me. Wait, why is that a problem?Well, compliments make me super uncomfortable so I try and avoid them whenever possible and I always have. Now older and trying to be wiser I realize that the issue is me in that equation and I obviously need to work on accepting compliments or simply nice things. I can’t remember if I have posted this but this was my Ranger School graduation day which is why I look 12. I think I lost 40 something lbs of which, 90% was in my face. If you too have a problem with compliments, say so in the comments as I think this may be a relatively common issue with many. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
Thanks so much @eli_doubletap for inviting us out to San Antonio! Met a lot of great people and had an amazing time! Thanks @savysummer for being so cool it was great for us to meet you! Finally, we are moving out of CA after the show wraps and TX is on the list of potential locations to move the wagon to! Anyone have a place they think is the best place to live for 2 California refugees? Make your case, we are open to anywhere! On that note, thanks @cristiane_ferreira_fit for your constant and unwavering support, you are beyond amazing! You mean the world to me and I love you more than words can describe! Thanks everyone for your support, I truly appreciate anyone reading this!
So @seanbuckrogers asked me about a situation from my time in that I regret and this is truthfully one of the few. I am very lucky that I in the unit I was in, with the people I was with. This story doesn’t really bother me anymore but it did for years. You can’t change the past and at a certain point you have to accept that. I did the best that I could in a split second decision and you can’t judge yourself for years on a decision you made in micro seconds. Everyone knows I love Star Wars and this is where I learned to: “Let go Luke”. If you are reading this and you haven’t yet let go of something, there is no better time than now.
Support is so critical in life and yet I really never realized how much so until recently. For some people it takes someone else believing in you so much that it cracks the fear and doubt you had your whole life. Me today and me a year ago are radically different. Today I accept what I am capable of rather than knowing it. Yes, consciously knowing something and subconsciously accepting it are two very different things I have learned that over and over. Because of this change, I am now doing things I didn’t do before because I felt I needed something external to show I could do it. “I can’t write because I didn’t go to college”. “I can’t direct something because I didn’t go to film school” I can’t write a philosophy book because I have no degree in that”. “I have thoughts on veterans mental health care but I am not qualified to do that”. All of these statements are wrong. You don’t need anything to try and do anything! Actually that’s not true. You do need one thing: passion. Without that it’s highly more than likely not going to work out but with enough of it NO ONE can stop you. If you are reading this now and there is something you want to do, but aren’t because: you don’t think you’re qualified to do it, no education in it, no experience, etc. Anything like that the only question is: you do really want to do it? If the answer is yes DO IT! Don’t listen to anyone on how you can’t do it or shouldn’t and don’t play it safe because I promise you life isn’t to play safe! Life is to work to make your dreams come true! Anything less than that isn’t truly “living”! The happiest I have ever been has come from me finally doing what I always held myself back from doing. I am now working as a writer. I never went to college nor film school. I had passion for it and after a lot of hard work to show others I had that passion, some great people were gracious enough to give me a shot. Now all I have to do is put that passion into this one opportunity and crush it which then hopefully leads to more of them. I am also writing my first Sci-Fi screenplay which is a dream come true. Thanks to the one who’s changed my life and I hope this post leads to someone changing theirs!

Our thoughts create our environment. We aren’t what we eat, we are what we think. I can promise anyone reading this that I used to think negatively almost exclusively and my life reflected that pattern of thinking. Today I think positively and as a result my reality is dramatically different. The woman to my left made me aware and helped me change that and I will be forever grateful. So this post hopefully leads someone down the path I was led down which is: change your thoughts to change your life. It works I promise you!! On a side note, when your partner is super healthy and in shape you gotta step up your game so I’m working on it. My goal is to get in the best shape of my life! Oh and one last thing: I do not and will not EVER use AI to write anything on here or do I edit anything or use filters. I believe to connect as humans we can’t filter ourselves nor have a machine be the communicator. No issue with other people doing it but if I post something I wrote it and I’m not editing my reality other than by the obvious way of what I choose to post or not. I have my bad days too and if I don’t post them constantly it’s only because I try and focus on the positive now it’s not because I don’t have them. I’m betting 10% of you read to here if you did comment “Sea Cucumber” bonus points if you know what that’s from!!
I couldn’t help myself I had to go 1985 and then I drove him to the vet going 88mph and sadly I’m still here! “Einstein” never looked back unfortunately but I still had to post. If you don’t know what this is from it’s: “Back to the Future” a classic (literally and figuratively)movie from the 80’s! If you haven’t seen (or your kids) watch it immediately! #backtothefuture
So many things coming up that @cristiane_mendell and I have been working on. We are very happy to now have our podcast “studio” setup and also be filming our video series. I have been writing a bunch of shorts for our upcoming YouTube cannel. This was a test we did that was fun I hope you dig it. Hopefully the Actors strike ends soon which will allow me to post some things I currently cannot. I hope everyone is doing well especially with so much going on in the world right now.
Apparently today is PTSD Awareness day. So why am I posting a photo of me smiling? Because I believe that we no longer need awareness, we need solutions. People need to not just keep hearing about the problem and how it’s getting worse, that makes people feel helpless. They need to hear there are new modalities that are working, they need to hear that people are being healed, they need to hear that there is HOPE! I’m smiling because I used to be miserable. I hated myself. I was self destructive and destructive to the point where I don’t honestly know how I am still here. But I am and now I am happy, healthy and can promise you that if you are currently in that place that there are ways out. I will be talking much more about these modalities and what I think the real disease is soon but just know there is a way out I promise you. It took me years to figure it out for myself and soon I will be putting out everything I have learned in my upcoming book. There is a light at the end of this tunnel and people want to help you but they have to know you need it. The last thing I’ll say is not only are you not alone but in my experience everyone is generally feeling the exact same things! In the comments below post what has helped you! If you are still in a dark place read what has helped others and ask questions, people will help you myself included!

It was awesome to sit down with my good friend @jackosbourne and do his Podcast! We talk about a lot of different things as long time friends do so get ready for a ride! Go to Jacks page for the link to check it out! Thanks for the support as always!
Just released is a knife colab I did with @stroup.knives called “Bravo 4” but that nomenclature has more meaning than what’s on the surface. As a I kid I LOVED “First Blood” and obviously was therefore obsessed with knives, particularly the one in the film. When asked what I would like to help design, I wanted a much more “carry-able” version of that famous blade and that is what Chris Stroup made happen! If you dig it head over to his IG and the link to purchase is there. Also of note, Chris is a former SOF member who now makes great knives so let’s give him our support! Thanks everyone have a great rest of your week!

Probably the most fun I’ve had on a podcast as usually they are super serious and this definitely is NOT! That being said I do think we talked about a few important subjects so listen to learn more! Thanks again @eli_doubletap !
