Over half the people living there are under 18 years of age. At the time of writing, at least 58 children have been killed in air strikes. Solidarity means more than speaking out. The movement for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions is a demand for people across the world to pressure Israel to abide by its international obligations. It is a call from Palestinians that we recognise their humanity, their right to exist and resist, in the face of occupation and bombardment. Boycotts, divestment and sanctions helped bring an end to apartheid in South Africa.
