“Painting with Birds”.
What a lovely couple and delightful programme.
I showed them around a part of my neck of the woods, the stunning Irish province of Leinster,
as they searched for little terns.
Airs tonight on SKY TV @ 9pm.
Jim & Nancy journey to a different area each episode to paint the unique species of birds native to that region, joined by local artists and friends such as Justin Hawkins, Mary McCartney and Nitin Ganatra.
I was in my element in beautiful Irish countryside, sketching and talking with them about my love and affinity with crows.

I’m sad to hear of the passing of the great
Françoise Hardy…. an inspiration and a respected friend.
She was such a remarkable singer, songwriter,
performer and a highly intelligent, complex, clever, charismatic woman.
She moved the heart of the listener.
Her words full of truth, her melodies so sweet and her delivery delicate yet strong were only complemented
by her presence and beauty.
She was honest with her opinions and advice so her
praise or critique was true and therefore valued.
She was a part of my life story and for that I’m honoured.
I wish her much love on her biggest journey to the stars.

I’m so sad to hear of the recent passing of my friend and guitar genius Duane Eddy. He created the most badass guitar sound that has influenced so many. What a life he had and with his beloved Dee Dee by his side. He was a true gentlemen and one of the coolest people I’ve ever met. His charisma was so intense he hardly had to move for his presence to be felt. His playing said it all. Total Legend. I send my love to Dee Dee, his family, friends and his many fans. Delighted to be announcing a special one off show at Royal Festival Hall as part of EFG London Jazz Festival, the capital’s biggest pan-city music Festival in Europe with over 300 shows across more than 70 venues.
Taking place Nov 15-24, the festival showcases a wonderful mix of talent from around the world.
I last performed at it with Jeff Goldblum at Cadogan Hall in 2018 and am thrilled to be back.

On what would have been Jeff Beck’s birthday, Gibson held a gathering with some of Jeff’s longtime friends and collaborators to celebrate his memory at the Gibson Garage, London. I hosted & curated a special show with @JohnnyDepp, @TobyLee @Anika.nilles, @guitardarling and @oscar_golding_music and Jeffs right hand man Shon Hartman. Attendees included Jimmy Page, Billy Gibbons, Chris Robinson, Graham Coxon, and of course the best of all Sandra Beck whom we all adore almost as much as Jeff did Jeff certainly had great taste in music, guitars, cars and friends as the room was so full of love. The evening also launched the Jeff Beck “Yardburst” 1959 Les Paul Standard, a collaboration Jeff was working on before he passed, finally unveiled and it sure is a beauty! Happy Heavenly Birthday Jeff. 🖤
Tonight 8pm Channel 4 my debut film Fisherman Friends One & All is being aired!!!!! If you need to feel all warm inside this is such a charming comedy. I’m so proud to be part of this beautiful movie about friendship, family and community. This was so special to me. Lucky me got to work with @jamespurefoyactor @maggiestead @johnsdavey Richard Harrington amongst the great cast.. and directors @meg.mistry and @nickmoorcroft I loved being a part of this most talented and caring film family in front of and behind the camera, I especially loved the real @fishyfriendsofficial who this film is based on and all the incredible local people of Port Isaac who will always hold a special place in my heart. @channel4 tonight 8pm Enjoy!!!!!
I loved performing again at the Bloomsday Festival at Embassy Gardens in London today. Getting better every year! We celebrated James Joyce, Ulysses and our wonderful Irish culture with great music, readings, poetry dancing all while being well fed and watered by Darbys and the brilliant chef/owner Robin Gill.
